Final stop on our road trip around Europe, and like all the other hotels we used, this was excellent. Parking was easy and straightforward, and the hotel is 15-20 mins walk from the centre of Hannover. Our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed, and the breakfast and dinner was excellent too.

Convenient stopover
Easy enough to get to if driving but a bit of a walk if you want to go sightseeing. Pleasant area next to the lake.
Hanover New Town Hall, lift up to the top viewing area.

Some of the employees were extremely helpful and friendly.Others perhaps were to young or shy.However the majority were excellent and emphatic by the fact I could not speak any German!!

Lovely location looking over the lake. It's a very nice hotel but was surprised there was no room service, and as we checked in quite late the only option to get a snack was a small "shop" in the lobby which didn't really stock anything particularly appealing. The fitness room was not extensive and the sauna was only operational during certain times, which unfortunately was outside the time I would have been available to use it.

The property has a great location next to the lake with good views. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The staff are very helpful and assisted with any special requests we had (twin beds, local recommendations).

Excellent hotel, staff are lovely and rooms are nice particularly if you request a lake view. Good location. 10minite walk to the nearest tube, 15/20minutr walk to the centre and shops, 30 minute walk to main train station or obviously you can get the tube. Would Defo recommend and stay again. We were there on a family city break for the Christmas markets and went to see the Harz Mountains too using Hannover as a base.

The hotel is okay. We had a lake view as booked. My only gripes were that the room smelled a bit of cigarettes and that they charge €3 for water, which is pretty cheap of them.

Worst cheap hard bed in a Courtyard Marriot ever
In the past I've usually had good beds in Marriots. However this hotel has thin hard cheap mattresses that feel like I'm sleeping on a carpeted floor, pillows were cheap with lumpy foam pieces. Staff also put me in a noisy room at the front of the hotel on the main street after I had specifically asked for a quite room, couldn't sleep much at all. If it weren't for the rooms being modern and clean this hotel would be rated a low 1.

Great Lakeside Hotel
The Courtyard Marriott is a great hotel right next to the Maschsee, which is certainly one of Hanover's nicest features. If you're looking to be right in the center of the town this probably isn't the best bet because it is just a little bit out of the way, relative to, say, the main train station and the major pedestrian zone. But the view of the lake is absolutely beautiful, and I had such a lovely afternoon sitting on the terrace drinking a glass of wine and watching all of the people go by. So if you've got a long weekend in Hanover and you really want to relax, this is definitely the place to be. Overall the hotel is quite well-equipped and in a very good state of repair. Pretty much up-to-date everything.

Nice hotel
Very nice hotel next to the lake. If you don't need to be in the center of Hanover I recommend this hotel. 25 minute walk to train station. Hotel is bit pricey though.

Beautiful neighborhood, lake and museums close by.
I was visiting for the DOMOTEX trade show and the accommodations were very good. Shuttle service was provided free of charge and the U was closeby as well. The staff was extremely helpful and the restaurant "Julian's" was excellent.

This is a gorgeous hotel with great staff right on the corner of the picturesque machsee. I cannot recommend it enough.
