Completely fine - my room was fine for INE person (the bathroom / shower had glass walls so could be weird if you are sharing the space with someone. TV is impossible to manage. Only German channels. Ah, no AC in my room.

Great for business trips
Location is super convenient if you are staying in Hanover for business. Minutes walk from the main station. The welcome desk staff were very friendly, and accommodating with any questions.

Great location and staff but.....
Great location, excellent staff. Strange room design with the toilet on one side and the shower on the other. Both recently remodeled though so I’m not complaining about those. Rather nice actually. No closet or drawers so I lived out of my suitcase for 5 nights. A couple of short poles to hang clothes on. VERY noisy. Construction site across the street started up at about 7 am but even beyond that, a lot of street noise. I could live with to spartan amenities if I was able to sleep.

Lovely but maybe avoid hot days
Design & room was lovely. Great restaurant & outdoor space - as it was a very sunny 33 degrees. The room was far to hot & couldn’t get the temp monitor to change anything, appeared to be no air con, which made getting comfortable & to sleep difficult. Great that it’s like a studio flat & has a deep bath - would have liked a larger choice of TV channels in English.

Cute hotel with a great bar downstairs
Very nice interior design, and the room was spacious! There was a separation between the bedroom and living room area which looked down to the street. The bar downstairs is part of the checkin desk and has excellent drinks.

Design hotel but no air-con and noisy outside
The hotel is in a convenient location for the main train station and has helpful staff. The rooms are nicely designed and are very modern. Unfortunately, there was no air-conditioning in the room although this is listed in Hotels.com. The road outside was busy and noisy. This meant that I had to choose between some air in the room or a lot of noise - this meant that I did not have a good night's sleep.

Nice modern hotel. Very clean. Good breakfast. Some staff memebers could be nicer... Good location. But noisy roadworks going on. And the aircon not powerful enough for hot weather.

Nice hotel really close to the central train station and some nice places to see. The hotel staff is really good, very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is good and the bar has good selection (try the japanese whisky)

Good location
Central location and a few minutes form the main station. I overlooked the road and it was noisy when the window was open. (the room was always too warm). A good breakfast provided and worth the money.

Very good
It was nice but even for a single room there should be some kind of storage. Plus the temperature control did not allow for the room to get cold enough. Great breakfast though I highly suggest eating the food. Wifi definitely needed improvement my work laptop could not connect to the vpn.

Well-designed room in a convenient location
I had a very pleasant stay during my business trip. It was just a few steps away from the central station and there was a very nice restaurant downstairs where I enjoyed my dinner. The room had a very nice design, there was free wifi which was not exceptionally fast, but good enough and the bed was comfy. Slightly more space would have been nice - but it was all good. Even though the room faced the street it was quiet at night.

Trade show visit Saturday and Sunday nights Jan 17
Business stay for 2 nights visiting trade show. Naturally, prices are inflated (all hotels) during trade show, so value for money is contentious, but prices in line with other hotels. Friendly staff, nice public hotel bar. On busy street with trams, trains, traffic, so not silent, but I didn't find the noise level problematic. Breakfast buffet was good.

Good small hotel nearby station with design rooms
Good location, nearby the train station and the shopping area of the city. Rooms are very nice and modern, with a touch of design. Perfect cleaning and renovation of the rooms. Stairs and common areas a little less new. There is no lobby in the hotel and just a very small reception desk in a tiny entrance area, connected to a trendy bar.

Would surely stay again!
I thought that the overall experience was fantastic and exactly what I wanted- a modern hotel that was clean and fun without being a disco club. It's nice to see a hotel well designed and appointed with authentic design (Vitra, Hans Grohe, etc...) rather than knock offs. The hotel bar was perfect. Mellow atmosphere that was certainly welcome after a long day of travel and meetings.

Im Wandel
Seit Jahren komme ich regelmäßig in das Smartcity. Gab es am Anfang noch ein Wasser gratis und Pralinen als Betthupferl, so fällt dieses auch weg. Gerade nach einer Reise möchte man etwas trinken. Es ist für mich tatsächlich ein Kriterium. Ich möchte keinen Bonbon auf dem Kopfkissen. Ist eher peinlich. Dann eher nichts. Es gibt weder Kaffee Tee Zubereitung, noch halt ein Wasser. Sehr schade. Daher nur 4 Sterne und da es keinen Kühlschrank gibt.

keine 4 Sterne verdient u nd überteuert
der einzige Fahrstuhl war mindestens 2 tage defekt ,dies soll laut anderen Hotelgästen öfters vorkommen, da der Fahrstuhl sich im Altbau befindet u nd abgerissen werden sollte.die klim aanalge wird zentral vom Hotel gesteuert und kühlt im Hochsomme die Zimmer nur auf 25,5 grad runter..die Einzelzimmer haben keine Kofferablage und kein kleiderschrank und auch keine kühlschrank

Forget if on a family trip
Let's first say that I booked for 2 nights but left after the first one. Totally no privacy in the room (suite) with shower totally on view from the room with no curtain or nothing else to obstruct view. And partial view also for the toilet itself. Surely not the choice when travelling with a family. Staff even admitted that and can't complain at all about the front staff which is anyway welcoming. But once you enter the lif fully covered with carpets on its walls as well, not a good first impression at all. Suite room itself good size anyway, even if not the cleanest one you might expect. Top location at walking distance from anything in the city centre. Few restaurants beside it as well. Pity for the architectural big mistakes, otherwise would be a good starting point for the city visit
