“Good Hotel”

Not far from the airport, transport facilities are nearby. Friendly hotel staff. good sized clean rooms, though the bed could have been more comfortable. fairly quiet given the location. Would book with them again.

“Excellent value, and friendly welcome”

I sayed for 4 nights. I wanted an economical touring centre hotel with a car park, on a tram route and without a reastaurant. The hotel has a large private car park, the tram stop is right outside and it does not have a restaurant. The reception is very friendly, the rooms large and well furnished. The inclusive breakfast in incredible. Everything imaginable hot and cold, including smoked salmon, umpteen different kinds of meat, eggs, bacon as well as every kind of cold and hot drink. There are over 90 rooms but those in the main front block are newer. There are two blocks at the rear of the car park which are similar to a Motel. The towels were changed every day, and the whole hotel was very clean. The room TV was far larger than normal hotel sets. The hotel is very close to the Autobahn exit and 3 km from the city centre. The only restaurants within walking distance are Greek, Chinese, Pizza and Burger. If you want German, take the tram to the town centre. I am not sure about other reports saying white washed walls. My room had two colour emmulsion painted walls. If you are looking for sumptuous lounges, the door opened for you and expensive rates then go to the 'Grand'. But if you want a good clean hotel and excellent valus, this is it.

“Very impressed”

Didn't know what to expect after reading previous reviews, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Room very clean and comfortable. Reception very friendly and helpful. Breakfast amazing and very good value and above the norm (- smoked salmon!!) I was in the main hotel however, and glad I took my earplugs due to traffic outside. Tram stop right outside and very close to main railway station. Would recommend it.

“Very friendly hotel”

The staff were very friendly and helpful. On arrival the hotel is only a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport. And right on the main tram route for Hannover city. The only drawback is that there is no tea and coffee facilitiesa in the rooms.

Impressed with cleanliness, comfort, great location, quiet room. Ideal for short stays in Hannover. Excellent value for money paid.

“Quiet place near the center”

Had a good experience. The only negative comment would be that the way to the rooms is around the back and it may seem somewhat scary, but there are cameras. On the positive side, the rooms are far from trains, cars, and noise, which leads to a great night sleep.

“Adequate Value Hotel”

Rooms basic but good work table and good WiFi signal. Bed & Bedding OK. Breakfast selection was reasonable. Hotel staff were helpful. Location is good for tram system, tram stop 50m and hotel has parking and is easy to find. So for value for money it is very good; not however for luxury or romantically minded.

it's not a luxury hotel, sure, it's probably more accurately described as a motel, but the room is more than adequate and the breakfast buffet is surprising lavish. it's pretty easy with the tram (right outside the hotel) to get into the city and it's relatively quiet.

“Only if the price is right”

Stayed at the hotel for 1 night. The location, if you are renting a car, is great because it sits in the middle between the highway exit and the city center with about 2-3 KM each way. Backpacking wise, there's a street train station right across from the hotel's entrance. Upon entering the hotel, you'll feel like being in a private school dorm / budget hotel. The reception staff is very nice and very informative, while the breakfast staffs are, well, they didn't seem to want to be there. Breakfast was plentiful and good just like other good German hotels. Parking at the back is spacious and also aplenty. Hallways are not always lit and so you'd have to press a button to turn on the lights, which in this day and age, is both cheap but also very environmentalism. The rooms. The bathroom looks like those you see in the Soviet Union apartments. Ugly. But clean. The beds are also nice, the rooms are large in size. And I need to mention Ugly, cheap, simple but clean. If the prices are good, I recommend this hotel. If you want to impress others with your ability to find good hotels on the cheap, this ain't it. And please don't take the brochure on Sorat Hotels other locations. Because those look amazing. You'll wonder if you made a choice and stayed at their worst property. Clean. Utilitarian. Simple. Good location for car renters. A solid 3.
