best thing about this hotel is the room

Rooms are clean and nice. Breakfast variety was enough, hotel location is a little far from restaurants and the city central. Staff were rude, condescending and unpleasant. We had 4 adults in a 3 bedroom suite. The three of us had breakfast one morning and a staff member approached our table to say the room only comes with breakfast for 2 adults and that we shouldn't hide the fact that more people will have breakfast. This could have been treated differently and spoken politely.

Nice property, bad check out experience

We stayed here for 2 nights. Check in was smooth, the apartment was beautiful. Great place for families or traveling with small children. There is a playground, playroom, swimming pool and room service. Nice amenities in the apartment, satellite TV, washer and dryer and a grocery store in the shopping center connected to the building. Easy to take taxis wherever you need to go. All was well until we checked out . They sent a staff member to our apartment to take inventory and said a salad plate and soup bowl were missing and we needed to pay for them. I told the front desk clerk, we DID NOT have them and I didn't know where they might be and it didn't matter to him what I said. He said we needed to pay for them. We said they could go through all of our belongings, we did not have them. The whole experience at check out was infuriating and really changed our feelings of our stay at the property, that had otherwise been an enjoyable experience. I did write the hotel and received a prompt reply and apology, but nonetheless checking out was not an enjoyable experience. By the way, no one comes up to the apartment to check the "inventory" when you check in. If this had not happened at check out, I would've said it was a great place to stay, but personally, I don't think I would return to this property.
