A great buy with an awesome staffPosted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: Staff, breakfast, location
The hotel was in a nice city location, with a super supportive and helpful staff. The breakfast was great and made it even a better deal. I can't imagine you will find a better buy for you dollar.

Wonderful experincePosted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff that helped us plan our stay and trip. They even helped us hunt down some authentic weasel coffee.
Location: Close to everything, the train station, Sword lake, West lake, shopping...
I stayed here with my sister and this was the best hotel during our entire trip across South East Asia. The hotel was clean, free WIFI, and the staff was very friendly (and spoke English). They also serve breakfast; I had an omelet and their banana pancake (which is fantastic). When I arrived I asked if they had laundry onsite and they were able to send out my dirty clothes and have them back to me within the day! They also helped us plan a spur-of-the moment trip to Sapa. All for a great price, I highly recommend. sister and this was one of teh best hotels during our entire trip acorss Veitnam.

Pros: Breakfast was included and was great with many local and broader options. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Laundry services was easy & inexpensive
Location: Located near historic area. Great shopping, eating, coffee shops, near the old prison that allows touring. Walking distance to the lake area.
We stayed at this hotel during an extended visit to Hanoi. While there, guests included families, young groups of travelers, retired couples and a diversity of backgrounds from all over the world. The hotel was conveniently located to some of the most interesting areas of Hanoi. There was an abundance of cafes, shops, restaurants and other amenities nearby. You could safely walk about at all hours of the day and night to find whatever you needed, whether it was food or travel items. Most of the staff spoke multiple languages, including English very well. They were more than happy to accommodate all requests for booking spa service, outings and trips, taxis, providing directions to attractions. They were always personable and greeted us, interested in our itinerary and ready to answer questions. I was very comfortable as a guest who did not speak Vietnamese in my first trip to Asia. The rooms were clean, comfortable, had everything I needed and made my stay very enjoyable. The adjustment to cultural differences was much easier staying here and I would highly recommend it to all types of travelers. The cruise that was booked for us was entirely planned for us without any issues. It was a quality boat with a great overall experience. The mountain trip to Sapa was wonderful, again, without any planning required from me. They do a wonderful job making our stay the best it could be. I'm looking forward to returning back to Hanoi!

Just okPosted Jan 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff seemed very helpful, but they try really hard to sell you on their tours, so it was hard to tell if the helpfulness was genuine. Decent location, but TONS of street noise. If you come in late, you have to buzz to be let in, and the elevators are turned off, so you have to take the stairs to your room. Decent enough rooms, but nothing special.

Hotel well locatedPosted May 8, 2012 on Hotels.com
We stayed 2 nights. Room a bit small but comfortable and clean. The building is old, small bathroom . The included breakfast is limited . Staff members are very helpful. Hotel is located in a very busy area with a lot of business on the sidewalk around the hotel. Lot of traffic during the day. 20 minutes walk to HoanKiem lake.

A truly excellent hotel!Posted Jan 5, 2012 on Hotels.com
For a budget hotel - this was exceptional on all fronts. From the warm welcome when we arrived to the comfortable room and bed, the lovely breakfast with the most charming and friendly chef! Everything was great - and then we left an item of clothing in the room. On returning several days later to pick it up, we found they had washed and dried it!! We were then offered tea which we had to decline as we had a train to catch, so they gave us two large bottles of water to take with us. Service above and beyond, especially as we had checked out 4 days earlier! A big thank you to a wonderful hotel and staff!
