Hotel Moment 1 is in the Old Quarter of Hanoi.Posted Nov 10, 2013
Pros: Helpful staff. Comfortable room.
Cons: The restaurant could be open for guests for hot/cold drinks and light foods throughout the day other than breakfast only.
Location: Conveniently situated in Old Quarter thus easy access to a variety of shops, restaurants and Hoan Kiem Lake.
Easy access to a variety of shops. Close to Hoan Kiem Lake. The hotel staff are pleasant and very helpful. The hotel room was pleasing to the eye and comfortable.

Excellent servicePosted Sep 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed 3 nights in total and were very pleased with the accommodation and especially the helpful staff. The rooms were uniformly comfortable and well appointed - they looked exactly like the pictures. After the first 2 nights we went to Halong Bay and returned for a final night. The hotel kept our bigger luggage for us and had it waiting in our rooms when we got back. Rooms at the front have big windows overlooking the street and lots of light. Rooms at back have smaller windows - not gloomy, but not as bright. Breakfast is served downstairs - fruit juice, eggs/hot breakfast cooked to order, croissants, toast. A lot of attention to detail in this hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and thoughtful. Walking distance to everything around the old city. Its on a busy street, but then so is everything else in the old city and we didn't notice noise in the rooms. The only small drawback is there is no public area for sitting except for the lobby which is relatively small.

Great service in the Old TownPosted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff who work here are lovely & speak excellent English. they are very informative & couldn't do more to help. Rooms are comfortable & a great base to explore the city from. The Old Town is very hectic although there is lots of things to see here making it a great place to see the city from.

Superb hotel at a very affordable price.Posted Aug 17, 2013
Pros: The staff are outstanding!
Cons: The lack of windows though that is just the nature of the building.
Location: Perfect for exploring the old town and wandering to the lake, water puppets and everything else. Perfect!
This lovely hotel was in a gem at the price. The real asset was the staff and their courteous, polite and helpful manner. They really couldn't do enough for us and went out of their way to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. The daily fruit and muffins was a really suprise and the use of a laptop in every room was great. For the price of this hotel, we really could complian about nothing. The location was great and a few minutes walk from the lake. I would definitely recommend this hotel as an inexpensive way of having a little bit of luxury in Hanoi.
