Great Location

Cannot fault the Hanoi Moment Hotel, being in the Hotel Industry ourselves it was a pleasure to stay there. The staff are extremely friendly & helpful, nothing is too much trouble - would love to have them in our reception! Location is fantastic, a short walk to the Lake & sights - you really are right amongst the action. Great value for money for a small family style boutique hotel.

Nice Place, Helpful Staff

Posted Apr 12, 2014
Really enjoyed our stay. Staff are very friendly and so helpful. Rooms were nice with comfortable beds with all the comforts one could need. Recommend Carina Cruise if you are going to Halong Bay - good value for money and the staff can sort it all for you. Their take on western food is a laugh, but they try. Overall a great place to stay, can't say enough about the staff.

Convenient location, friendly staff.

Pros: Location. Staff, rooms, breakfast.
Cons: Room service took a while.
Travelling with 3 teenage daughters, we booked two family rooms at the front of the hotel with large windows. Facilities and service were very good and within easy walking distance to all sights in the old quarter. We loved it and would go back again.

Great Service & Attitude

Tom, Vincent and every single person working there are very helpful. They are amazing team. Very good deal as the stay includes all you can eat/drink breakfast that has good selections. The room aims to achieve 5 star quality by providing a laptop and other meticulous details which is applaudable. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Great location, friendly staff, excellent value

My wife and I got a Deluxe room, which I did because the standard wasn't going to have a window which I can't imagine. I'm not sure what other extra amenities vs. the standard, but I was quiet impressed by the design and just about everything about the room. The staff was as friendly and helpful as I've seen in any hotel. The breakfast was quite nice as well, and was table service rather than buffet style. The hotel is right in the middle of the Old Quarter, which is where we wanted to be as tourists. I stayed for six days and was never disappointed in my choice of hotel!

Hanoi Holiday Hanoi Holiday

Pros: Hospitality. Cleanliness. Breakfast. Great position. Tour Desk.
Cons: really can't thing of anything, I even wrote a Thank you letter and told them not to change anything
Location: The Hotel is in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, right in the heart of great shopping, bank right next door, really good eating and coffee places
Drove down a few streets in the Old Quarter, I had a feeling of dread "oh no" our Hotel is in this area. What a pleasant surprise when we pulled up in front of the Hotel, we were greeted with big smiling faces. They rushed down to pick up our luggage, we were then welcomed to sit down and a nice fresh cold Mango drink. The staff sat down and told us about the area, things to do. We were then taken to our room, what a nice surprise rose petals all over the bed, fresh fruit platter.....and free Internet and yes you guessed it a laptop. They have a Tour desk so we booked our tours through them, it was seamless. The breakfast was yum, we could order anything on the menu, and they were more than happy for us to have multiple servings .the omelettes were to die for, the staff were so happy to help it really made our experience in Hanoi so much better. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone wanting personal service with genuine people. Thanks from Sue & Linda I

Service service service! Hotel is great too

Hanoi Moment Hotel hire exceptional staff and the services and restaurants they recommend were excellent. It was our honeymoon so they decorated our room which was very sweet and they even gave us a cake. We asked them to book a Halong Bay tour and it was very good. We did this over email, they were very quick to respond and organise Phoenix tour with our lovely tour guide Lucky. We had to leave very early the next morning 530am so they packed us 2 club sandwiches and waters. Breakfast is 6am to 10.30am (I think) and it is all you can eat off the menu. Internet wifi is free and very good signal. Location walk to everything. Went to Gecko cafe around corner from hotel it was very cheap and cheerful. We got airport car pickup service $18US which is worth it to not bother with taxi and meter. When we got to the airport I realised I left my backpack in the car and Hanoi Moment hotel organised for the driver to come back and to our surprise, the driver dropped off the bag to us while we were checking in at the counter! We were so grateful for their prompt and exceptional service. Thank you Hanoi Moment Hotel!

Best hotel of our trip

Posted Feb 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its staff. They were quite helpful, especially when they run out into the street to stop traffic to let you cross. The rooms were impeccable, the breakfast was tasty, and the hotel was right in the old town Hanoi within walking distance to everything that we wanted to visit. The only warning is to be certain you want to stay in the grittier old town, and not the French quarter or the slower paced financial district.
