Great stay with the kidsPosted Jul 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a great time, room was very large and comfortable. Staff were terrific. We never once had to catch a cab and walked to all the sites. We were traveling with an 8 and 11 year old and had no issue with anything. Was great to have a pool as it was very hot. For the price I could not complain.

good hotel, in a great areaPosted Apr 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice little hotel. Never used the pool, but it was a little odd, crammed in to a room. Hotel was central to everything we wanted to see, and right in the heart of it all.

Wonderful staff at this lovely little hotelPosted Jan 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel staff could not do enough for us at this hotel right in the centre of the old town in Hanoi. The electrics were not working properly in the first room we had and the staff moved us at the first opportunity. The rooms were very clean, bathrooms a bit dated but functional and breakfast was very nice!

Staff superb.Posted Dec 27, 2012
Pros: Staff and breakfast.
Cons: Hard bed and cold pool.
Location: Superb, in the old town, walk to everywhere.
Wonderful location in old town, all the staff were superb and very helpful, nice breakfast. Bed so hard it hurt and the pool too cold to use. But we loved the place.

located around the corner from the night marketPosted Dec 4, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel was located in a busy location just a few meters away from the night market, the hotel was very clean and was comfortable, The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, they booked all our tours for us and have us lots of advise about what to see and where to eat, great service.

Paradise hotel recommendedPosted Nov 30, 2012
Pros: Location and staff
Location: Central in old quarter
The staff were terrific. Very friendly and helpful. Room was great - clean and big enough for our family of four. Bathroom got pretty wet after a shower which was a minor problem. Breakfast included which made the day easier. Would recommend to stay here

Central to Old Quarter sightsPosted Oct 17, 2012 on Hotels.com
Staff extremely friendly & approachable, very helpful and willing to talk to you to improve their English skills all are extremely helpful with small details of advice current to the local area. Small comfortable hotel well managed & maintained. Rooms are sufficiently spacious with excellent hot water bathrooms. With a high standard of attention to detail. We will return on our next visit.

Location: Not as central as i expected
For only US$2 extra we had a completely different experience and a much better quality room at a different hotel in Hanoi. After our tour of the NorthWest Mountains ended we needed an extra couple of nights before transferring to Hong Kong and the quality of the other hotel was amazing, clean, better facilities and more central to Old Quater in Hanoi. The staff were loverly at Hanoi Paradise Hotel, but the hotel was clearly not "paradise" and not "best rated", in my opinion. I dont want to rate it too low, as that would be unfair to the staff, however quality cannot be compromised when advertising something to be of such a high standard. This will only ever lead to disappointment.
