“Nice newly renovated hotel”

only down fall is the paint smell has not worn off during our stay. otherwise, wonderful little hotel with friendly staff in a very convenient location.

“Better hotels for the price”

This hotel is in a great position in the Old Quarter. The suites are the only rooms I would recommend however as the other rooms have no windows. The staff in the hotel were extremely helpful. The breakfast leaves a little to be desired but if you go with the Vietnamese menu you should' be disappointed. I would caution booking any other tours etc through this hotel as although the tour and service manager speak English the translation into services left something to be desired. We were significantly out of pocket after taking up their offer to organize tours for us and the standard of services was poor. There are numerous hotels in the Old Quarter - you can do better for your money.

“Bijou Hotel in Old Hanoi”

Tiny hotel in the Old Quarter of the city, just at the back of the famous Water Puppet Theatre. Don't be misled by their website, which suggests that there is a restaurant and a bar - there isn't, although they do a complimentary buffet breakfast of Vietnamese food in a small dining area. But the rooms are decent and clean, and very well appointed. There wasn't a bathtub in my (ordinary) room, but the shower stall was excellent. The staff are efficient and friendly. The clincher for me was that the wi-fi in every room works brilliantly, and that they even lend you a new laptop in every room of you haven't brought your own mobile device.

“Boutique style hotel great value”

Great friendly service, good value for the price, rooms clean and comfortable we asked and promptly recieved extra layer on mattress, most Asian hotels have firm beds, don't expect a window view either in hanoi, unless you want to pay a higher price, dosn,t matter really the best views are out on the streets! Breakfast freshly cooked and adequate. Good position to lake and old quarter. Great little boutique-style hotel,
