Great Hotel, Great LocationPosted Nov 24, 2013
Cons: Internet access charge in room is a bit expensive.
Location: Short walk to Lake Hoan Kiem, the old quarter, plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby.
The Hilton Hanoi Opera is an excellent hotel, very comfortable room, helpful staff, and great location for accessing Hanoi on foot or by taxi.

5-Star hotel in good location at reasonable rate.Posted Nov 7, 2013
Very pleasant hotel with helpful staff. Nice location away from, but conveniently ose enough to tourist areas and shopping district. Nice restaurants on hotel and in immediate area. I definitely will stay there on my next visit to Hanoi

A very 'usable' hotel.Posted Oct 8, 2013
Ideally located for accessing much of Hanoi by foot and 'easy' too pop in and out throughout the day. The previous two nights I stayed at the Metropol which is gloriously unique, but could not afford the first night of high season. Staying at this Hilton was a very good 'second best' and I will stay again if I can not afford the Metropol.

Comfortable Hotel with friendly staffPosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Room odour and ability to process reasonable guest requests
Location: Lake, restaurants, cafe's, bars and shopping
Friendly staff and great location a little away from the hussle and bustle of the old town, yet easy distance to Ho Kiem Lake. Disappointing that despite a great deal of notice a hotel of this standard couldnt arrange for inter connecting rooms for a family of 5 and there was a mild smell in one of the rooms. Facilities were good and staff very helpful with a comprehensive breakfast buffet that everyone enjoyed.

Very pleasant hotel and great locationPosted Sep 6, 2013
I was really pleased with this hotel. The staff was excellent - attentive at all times, the iced cappuccinos in the reception bar were to die for and JJ's bar was great too for a late night game of pool and drinks before going to bed. The standard rooms were really big, quiet, comfortable and very clean. The pool was great too, not too crowded so we used it every day. The location can't be beat - it's in the French quarter, which is quieter than the Old quarter, and you can easily walk to Hoan Kiem lake and most of Hanoi's attractions (Temple of Literature). I would definitely choose this hotel again.

I got the room for a great price!!Posted Jul 18, 2013
Cons: Musty smelling hall and curtains in room were also musty and perished when drawn. The mustiness could be rectified with roomfreshiner
Location: Fantastic location
I did get this hotel for a great price but it didn't include wifi in room, so had to pay a considerable some extra although that fee gave me breakfast and access to the executive lounge which was fantastic and I made full use of it:))
