“fun in Hanoi”

I was very happy with my stay. The hotel is close to everything and the people were very friendly. I will stay again when I return.

The staff at this hotel were so wonderful and genuinely could not do enough to make our stay a comfortable one. Our room was very clean and a good size. The hotel's decor may be a little tired, but this is far outweighed by the constantly smiling friendly staff.

We arrived 12 hours late after a typhoon had prevented us landing in Saigon and connecting with our flight to Hanoi, so were just a tad tired. Staff couldn't do enough to ensure we were made welcome and settled into our room for some catch up sleep. Front of house staff were a wealth of knowledge about local haunts, prices you should pay and how to get the best of Hanoi. Great value for money and will book here again if I return to Hanoi.

“backpacker's hotel”

the guy at the frontdesk is always smiling. Location is good. Most of the attractions in the city are walkable from hotel. Better choose local PHO (noodles) for the free breakfast instead of American breakfast. Rooms are clean and safe. Only weird thing is that the bathroom window in room 401 is seethrough and no certain. We have to turn off the light when using the bathroom.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good location - easy walk to Lake, Markets, Restaurants etc. Room basic but clean and good value for money. There is no lift in the hotel. Breakfast was adequate but not great. Great coffee shop right across the street. Stored our luggage for free while we travelled north for a few days.

“Great Service but someone used our room”

We went on a trip to Hanoi and stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. We booked the tour through this hotel and one day when we came back from Halong Bay tour, someone has entered and used our room without our consent. When we complained to the hotel manager, he said he had Air Conditioned guy fixed our AC. This means the AC guy used our shower, messed our bed and moved the TV position as well as left dirty cotton bud on our floor. We were shocked when this happened. The manager apologized and so was the owner. If you're on a budget and intend to stay in this hotel, be careful with laundry services. Make sure you weight them on as somehow we believed we're overcharged. We stayed only 5 nights and did 3x laundry. It was so impossible we did 3.5KG washing for each laundry, this was so absurd but there was no point to argue as we haven't got a proof coz we never weight them. Not a big deal, just dislike the dishonest attitude from the owner.
