“Great Hotel”

Fantastic hotel for business. Easy to find, clean, classy, great service...the works. A little pricey and a slight walk to the older town are the only downsides.

“good 5 star hotel”

morning buffet breakfast very good. Room spacious and clean. Apparently not many 5-star hotels in Hanoi and this is one of them.

“great service and located within walking distance to french and old quarters”

Room was comfortable and clean, spa and fitness services within the hotel. Plenty of amenities in the room for anything you might have forgotten including spare toothbrushes and paste. Would stay there again.

“Hanoi 1000 next October”

Hanoi is a fast moving, motor scooter noisy city and the Melia is just a short walk from all the action of old town, and a great place to hang out after a busy day of touring. Great restaurant as well.

Area recommendations

Old town Hanoi is where it's at. Also need to take the city tours. Ho Chi Mien resting in state is a must see.

“A Jewel in Hanoi”

We were greeted at the door, processed quickly, and shown to a lovely room. The hotel offers spa services at very reasonable prices, a large and tasty breakfast buffet, travel services, money exchange, and several shops. It is located close to many points of interest. I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

Traveler's tip

The hotel has a small pamphlet with lots of valuable information, especially about the right way to cross the streets filled with chaotic traffic.
