“Hanoi Club review may 2012”

We had a wonderful stay and found the staff to be very polite and helpful. The food was great and the food and beverage manager(Robin) was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again if in Hanoi.

“Service let down an otherwise nice hotel”

We wanted somewhere with lots of facilities to keep us entertained as a bit of a rest from an otherwise busy iterary. The hotel was very tidy and presented nicely, however the front desk staff did not speak good English and were generally not particularly helpful. They didnt have a town map, or at least didnt know they had a map, which we later found for ourselves in the golf shop area. We wanted to play tennis, but it took quite a while to establish that they don't have rackets to borrow or hire. We then went on the driving range into the lake which was fun but lots of small hidden costs in addition to the balls such as clubs and tees. breakfast was fine although not outstanding for a 4 star. The location was fine as we knew it wasnt central but we decided to spend the remaining days of our stay closer to the centre in a cheaper hotel. Note when travelling to the hotel that there is a similarly named road elsewhere in the city with a different hotel so mention west lake when agreeing price
