Great location with a roof terrace

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: As above - what not to like when its such a cheap room
Location: The lake, and the street life of Hanoi - perfect
we really like the hotel. The staff were delightful and the location was perfect. The roof terrace was a great place to relax after a busy day and to escape the crowded city. Rooms were clean and the air conditioning was for once perfectly quiet !! that is an achievement. Highly recommend this hotel to stay in when visiting Hanoi

Great hotel. Excellent location.Wonderful staff.

Once the renovations are finished this hotel will be hard to beat.We were disappointed not to have access to the pool and rooftop bar, but the staff were so lovely and helpful, the location very central, but quiet so it didn't spoil our stay.

Good location in Old Quarter

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Good location, hospitality
Cons: Nothing
The Tirant is in an ideal location for exploring the Hanoi Old Quarter and walking streets. It only took a short stay to understand why travellers rate this hotel highly. The staff are helpful and service is excellent with great hospitality. Our rooms were a little tired but quaint and comfortable. They were renovating when we stayed and management went out of their way to compensate and make guests welcome which meant the small amount of noise was not a problem. Our child was sick and they allowed an early check in, booked a doctor and gave us helpful tips on where to go in Hanoi. We enjoyed our stay with family of 4.

Bad timing

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Unfortunately for us the hotel was under renovation during our stay. Had we been given more than one day notice of renovation we might have changed hotels as the pool was closed (main reason we chose this hotel was location and pool for cooling off hot kids). Our suite on the 7th floor was 3 floors below the jack hammer which made being in the room unbearable and added to our irritation. Had the renovation not been going on I am sure we would have had a very pleasurable experience!

Overall good hotel, friendly staff. Beds are extremely hard though and the room had no window. Breakfast was tasty.

Excellent location in old quarter

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Nothing was too much for this hotel. What surprised us was the attention to detail and the breaky buffet was superb with lots of variety. The manager made sure to visit every table, enquiring of our experience with the hotel. Small enough to be personal but with all the extras you would expect of this caliber hotel.

Nice hotel right middle of old quarter in Hanoi.

Posted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: Services and location
Location: Right middle of old quarter so shopping shopping and more shopping. Lots of restaurants and bars and spas as well..waking distance to the lake.
My husband and I stayed total of 4 nights at Tirant hotel Hanoi and we were very happy with the services we got from all staff. We had to change few of our ravel plans and James the front office manager helped us by calling our travel agents we well as upgrading pur room to suit our new plan. We had a few meals in the sky view lounge and the staff were very attentive and meals were excellent. I would recommend this hotel.

I stayed at the Tirant Hotel for three night and was pleased to see the hotel was as advertised in terms of quality and location.I would fully recommend the hotel to visitors to Hanoi. Breakfast was good, the on-site travel advisors were also very helpful in booking my trip to Halong Bay.All staff were extremely helpful, polite and efficient.
