Everything about the property has always been good for my convience. The fantastic gardens, the bar set up and the outdoor dining option. The fantastic ambience of the gardens 👌 fantastic set up all round.

The property is beautiful. The gardens are lush and the artwork is amazing. It was also very quiet which was appreciated. When we got there, our room was ready. We had been in the room for about an hour when a maintenance worker opened the door and headed into the room and seemed perturbed that we were in the room. A few minutes later, we got a call that we would need to move rooms because there was no hot water in our room. We packed up our things and were moved to a room on the 2nd floor. The next morning, when we went to take our showers, there was no hot water in our room! We took cold showers and then checked out.

This hotel is contained in beautiful surroundings with seating areas dotted about which are really relaxing and are much better than being sat in city centre hotel room. Pity the bar closes at 10pm but I suppose that is because of the close proximity to bedrooms and the fact that many working people do not stay up late. Five minute walk to Spar shop and a few fast food offerings including Nando's. Eight minute walk to Harare Sports Club which offers an extensive menu and a large clubhouse.

This is the best accommodation I have found so far in Harare. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the amenities are very good. I felt ill on my first night there and the manager Marilyn went out of her way to assist me with finding a doctor. Even though the hotel was completely booked, Felicity managed to find a way for me to stay one more night in my room. Highly recommendable.

The gardens are absolutely stunning. The jacarandas were in full bloom and it was a pleasure to wake up and see the colours and stroll through the lush grounds. Made my stay incredibly memorable.

My experience at the Bronte
The Bronte is the only hotel I stay in when in Harare. The peaceful gardens are so tranquil and relaxing after a day of meetings. The staff are professional, friendly and helful. The food is really good and presented with an artisitic touch. I recommend the Bronte as the place to stay when in Harara.

Beautiful, peaceful place
Absolutely gorgeous, park-like grounds, with pretty, fragrant flowers and other plantings. Bullfrogs were partying into the night! (Didn't bother me at all - they were fun and not near my room - the ponds are in front just outside reception.) Very quiet apart from them. Fantastic service - friendly and helpful, including housekeeping. Central location. Nice gym and two pools. Decor is classic rather than modern. Breakfast was good but could have used more variety. Dinner was very good the one night we ate there. A few small common issues with older hotels like this (even ones generally well kept up): not enough outlets especially by the bed, some outlets were a little janky, and the ceiling fan was a little wobbly at speed (though didn't seem at all at risk of falling).

Great hotel. Love the view(Garden), food choices and great stuff here. Only complain is the sewer sometimes brings bad smell into washroom , some treatment will make it a perfect hotel.

The grounds are beautiful in this lovely urban green space. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel is also an easy 5 minute walk from a shopping center with a number of conveniences.

We had a very nice stay at the Bronte. The gardens are beautiful and relaxing. The staff are friendly and professional. The room was nice but the chairs are a little dated and worn. Two negatives. Copies were 50 us cents each and the shower drain was slow so that water pressure had to be very low to keep water from backing out into the bathroom.

A classically beautiful, very special bungalow boutique hotel, beloved by visitors like me for decades. The well manicured hotel gardens may be the most lovely in the region.

Very beautiful atmosphere. Only down was that as a very sensitive non- smoker, I found the sheets reeked of cigarette smoke. Next time may not opt for a room with a balcony as that probably attracts smokers to utilize such rooms. Otherwise will definitely stay here again any time I can. Hot showers a big plus! Lovely, lovely breakfast - ends too early, but excellent overall.Hotel highly recommended.

The best Hotel in Harare, in my view. Further out of town and showing more wear than some but excellent staff and beautiful grounds make it worth while.
