An average hotel for the pricePosted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: comfort of the bed. Front desk was helpful
Cons: cleaning staff . Should have a breakfast for the price paid.
Location: good location for the capitol or Hershey
We were a little surprised at the smoke odor in the hallways, for a non smoking hotel. The first room we were given was filthy! We called the front desk ( from cell phone since room phone was disconnected) and they immediately gave us another room which was much better. The room was a nice size and had separate bed room and a kitchenette. The bed was very comfortable. The biggest problem we had was with the noise. The people above us were very intoxicated, loud and ignorant. Due to lack of proper sound proofing when constructed we had a long night. I would recommend ear plugs if staying there or you may get lucky and have decent people next to you. The hotel is decent, but I feel a bit over priced. I would probably stay there again , but with a good set of earplugs.

What a hotel should bePosted Sep 19, 2013
Everything was great. I am fairly picky about the cleanliness of rooms, especially the bathroom and bedding. Everything was spotless and in good condition, no smells or stains. Maintenance on the building seemed good.

Dogs barking all nightPosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
I recently went to hershey chocolate world and stayed at this hotel. I will give them praise on the way they greet guests and the quality of the room for the price they charge. My only two complaints are: 1. The person in the room above me sounded like they were dragging furniture across the floor all night long. 2. Two of the rooms on the same floor as me each had a dog that kept barking at each other from 6 am - almost noon nonstop. A call to the desk yielded no stoppage to the barking.

Very nicePosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel was very nice. Small kitchen in the room was plus which include everything you need to cook small meals. You need to go down to front desk to replace the towels but that was ok. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Really Nice hotel. 20 minutes away from HersheyPosted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: The size of the room and how updated it was. Had everything we needed in the room.
Cons: Complimentary breakfast would have been nice.
Location: The location is 20 minutes away from Hershey park.
We had a really enjoyable stay at Candlewood. The room was very well kept and a perfect size for 4 adults and two kids. I was very pleased with my stay at Candlewood. Easy check-in. Would stay here again if I was ever in the area.
