Pros: Clean/well organized, helpful staff, morning breakfast (tasty, good variety), lobby computer (printout boarding pass), and easy access to highways
Cons: It was perfect as is
Location: Many and a different variety of restaurants, a nice shopping center, gas stations, highways, were easily accessible.

Friendly, clean hotelPosted Oct 7, 2013
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and had a refrigerator and microwave; very handy! Breakfast better than most. Front lobby set up and decorated well. All in all, a great place to stay for a reasonable price.

Close to HersheyPosted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: Beds were comfortable. Great value for the price.
Cons: Swimming pool had caution tape around it - not very scenic. Room was not thoroughly cleaned each day....never changed the sheets or replenished .
Location: Stayed here because it was only 18 miles from Hershey.
Good hotel for the price. Beds were comfortable and close to Hershey.

Random Bullets....pt 1Posted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
I'm not normally one to post reviews, unless I have a truly horrible experience. I hope you take the time to read this whole review. I read the reviews before I booked the hotel and went with this one, opposed to one with a comparable review rating. I wish I had gone with the other one! Upon walking in the rear entrance to the lobby, I noticed a master lock just randomly sitting on the floor, as I bent down to pick it up, I noticed a loose .22 bullet just laying there next to it. I took both items to the front desk and asked if I had anything to worry about before I check in, to which the desk clerk assured me there was nothing to worry about as he nervously laughed it off. So we check in and grab our luggage from our vehicle. We decided to use the side stairwell entrance to go up to our room....stink is an understatement for the way this stairwell! We hoped that once we got out of the stairwell that the smell would go away, it didn't! It had a different, just as bad, stench in the hallway. The hallway looked filthy and the key entries on the door looked like they were turn of the century! As we made our way down the hallway, we noticed ANOTHER .22 BULLET just sitting on a luggage cart! We hadn't even made it to our room yet and were ready to leave the hotel and get our money back. Only 1500 characters per review! Sorry, I can't finish telling you the rest of our horrible experience.

Decent overnight stayPosted Jul 22, 2013
Pros: The location and hotel amenites were adequate. The breakfast offerings and choices were adequate. We did not use the swimming pool.
Cons: The Expedia price for the room was somewhat high for the two double beds and amenities provided. No offense, but Mechancsburg is not a resort city.
Location: Adequate choices of restaurants (within 5 minutes). Reasonably close to Gettysburg National Military Park (25 minutes) and Hershey Park (25 minutes).
We were passing thru the area and driving to New England and we needed a hotel reasonably close to both Gettysburg National Military Park and Hershey Park. We stayed only one night. This Comfort Inn West in Mechanicsburg is approximately midway between both of those attractions.
