“Good value”

The hotel stay was great....the only negative I have is that the beds were extremely FIRM. This may not be a problem for some people but my back was sure hurting the next day. Guess I'm just used to my pillow-top mattress at home :) Again, though, overall stay was great and will definately stay there again...ideal location!

“Great value”

The staff was friendly. I was surprised that the staff knew so little about things to do, places to go and restaurants in Harrisburg the Capitol of the state. One complaint was that they were never able to fix the slow flushing toilet and the constant water leak (we couldn't hear it). The sink also backed up once.

“Did just fine for what I needed it to”

I was only there for one night so I loved that check out and in were really fast because I didn't have a whole lot of time. It was a comfortable hotel for the night. However, I was upset that the wireless internet was not working in my room, the signal was to week for my computer to pick up and others complained of the same. I also did not receive my wake up call and that made me later than I wanted to be.

“Riverview Comfort Inn”

We stayed here because of it's closeness to City Island and the Harrisburg Marathon. The person working the front desk was not friendly, she never looked me in the eye once while checking me in, mumbled and was hard to understand. It was like she was repeating a rehearsed paragraph. The hotel was clean and the bed was wonderful...the fire alarm was pulled at 2am which was not the fault of the hotel but no one came to let us know if we needed to evacuate or not.

“Great view of river!”

We would return if we could get a room with a view of the river again. Very clean & comfortable, with nice staff and waffles for breakfast. Well worth it at the sale price but normal rate might be excessive - it's not a luxury hotel but probably the nicest 2-story inn (no elevator, fyi) I've ever stayed at. DO NOT use google maps or you end up in the next town - you must call hotel for exact directions. Hotel should advertise this clearly on website. We wasted 1 hour lost at night!

“Under construction”

The place was under construction and received a discount for that reason. Once the renovations are complete this will be a nice little location at the south edge of downtown, right on the Riverfront walking trail. Would recommend as a low cost alternative to the "downtown" hotels.

“OK, just OK”

I have stayed here twice. Convenient to downtown and far cheaper than the other hotels in the area. Room was small and quite crowded with furniture -- this is an older facility that was designed for smaller beds. No particular complaints. The room was clean, the check-in and check-out were fine. I wasn't spending much time in the room, so it suited my purposes. Business travelers who wanted to work in the room would find it a little cramped.

“Okay for the price”

The hotel was average but the walk along the river was wonderful.
