Staff was welcoming, room was very nice. If I had a negative, we were told that housekeeping did not service the room every day. But at least we were told so I wasn't surprised when the beds weren't made when we returned. The breakfast was okay, the staff did a great job of cleaning the tables and restocking supplies.

Check in was easy and the two women at the front desk were friendly. The room layout was great; king-sized bed with a pullout sofa bed. There were plenty of places to put luggage and all the “stuff”. Even though the bathroom is tight, it’s fully functional. The restaurant attached to the hotel is upscale and we enjoyed dessert there. This hotel is right in the heart of downtown Carlisle and when the need arises, we’ll definitely book here again.

We were in Carlisle for the Ice Festival and the hotel was in the perfect location for all the activities. The Whiskey Rebellion restaurant was delicious, and inside the hotel building. The free breakfast was nice and the staff was terrific. We will come back again.

Noisy customers ruined our stay
We had to call front desk multiple times about a very noisy room -people yelling from 9:30pm-3:00am. Desk staff should have monitored the room so we didn't need to keep calling to complain. Very frustrating.

Surprisingly great stay for the price!! Nice size room with fridge and microwave. Bed and pillows were comfortable!! Breakfast was your typical free hotel breakfast, but coffee was decent!

Called ahead to make sure we were set up for a late check in as we were arriving after midnight. Got to the hotel at almost the exact time we said we were going to arrive and the entire place was locked up. We stood outside, in an unfamiliar place, in the cold, at 12:15am, for at least 10-15 minutes before the person working finally got back to the front desk to let us in, and then proceeded to give us an excuse that she was “downstairs getting supplies. Meanwhile, before we got in, we were minutes from leaving, thinking we were going to have to scramble and find some other place to stay for the night. The breakfast here is pretty lame too - one tray with some “omelettes” and sausage, barely any muffins / rolls, etc., green inedible bananas, sad looking fruit. We had hoped for, and had expected, much better from this place.

The property in the historical district is very convenient to explore history, Dickinson, restaurants, etc. Once parked in the convenient garage, we were able to walk everywhere. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Our two double bed room was comfortable and clean but in need of painting and replacement of grouting in the bathroom. The breakfast was typical of a class 3 hotel. Overall this is a good choice for the price.

Cool old building. Good room size. Nice bar. First room was dirty and we asked for another room. That process was quick and easy and second room was much better. Dinner was good but had hoped for better.
