“Good quality place to stay near Interstate”
Driving back from the Midwest, we ended up staying in this hotel to avoid Hurricane Irene, rather than rushing home, and right into the storm. It was a very busy weekend, so a lot of other hotels were already booked.
The price seemed pretty decent, cheaper than Hampton Inn, and the hotel was just as nice. Our room was clean and comfortable, staff was helpful and nice, security was good, breakfast was good, my son loved the pool (so we spent a lot of time in there).
The tiles around the pool were a little slippery when wet (especially for a toddler), and the hotel wasn't near many good restaurants (although the Asian Bistro just down the road actually was quite good). Most of the nearby restaurants were chains like TGIF and fast food.
But those are minor complaints, and you can't really expect great restaurants near an interstate. Overall we had a great time and will definitely look for this hotel and other locations of this chain in the future.
