Vacation with our grown sonPosted Oct 30, 2013
Pros: the rooms were very clean and it had a lovely lobby to sit in plus a coffee shop.
Cons: helpful knowledge staff
Location: we all went to Lancaster to the farmers market at Bird-In-Hand. We also went to Chocolate World. We have realatives living there in Harrisburg
We hadn't seen our grown son in some time so I made reservations through Expedia. I explained that when we get there he was going to pay for his room and we would pay for ours. Unfortunately this isn't how it worked out. We checked in 2 hours earlt which was very nice of the hotel to let us do. My son gave his credit card and rewards number and we gave our credit card and rewards number. We thought that mean't they had made the change from the reservation that I made weeks early and was told we could do this at the time of check in. When my son ask the desk he wanted to pay woth his points is where we found out the hotel couldn't handle this. So we ended up charging the room to us but giving the reward points to each of us. It was very confusing and the staff didn't seem interested in helping us with expedia. The hotel is a very nice hotel and is located in a very nice place. Would I reccommend the hotel for a stay...yes. But be completely sure long before you check in how your room is going to be charged and get it in writing and don't sue Expedia !!!!

Clean hotel.Posted Oct 7, 2013
Cons: The shower was slightly broken. A complimentary breakfast would have been nice or maybe just some free coffee for breakfast. Cookies upon arrival?
Location: close to shops and downtown.
Clean hotel. Close to everything. The lobby was empty when we arrived. Someone showed up in a little bit. No smiles, though...too bad.

Very nice hotel. It was hard to find a hotel that does not allow pets or smoking. This is one of them. Very clean and comfortable beds. Bathroom was also clean. Would definitely go back.

Wedding CrasherPosted Jun 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
My wife and two kids and other couple and their two kids stayed at this hotel. Everything was going fine until a late night after wedding party popped up two rooms down from us. The hotel was slow to react. They apolgized and gave us two breakfast vouchers. Whoopi!! Other than that, the location distant from Hershey Park was great for the price.
