Trip to Hershey/Senators

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Convenient to downtown
Cons: Bathrooms need to be remodeled
Location: Senators are in walking distance as well as many restaurants and bars.
Staff is nice, friendly - Pool was not in use, but staff made up for it - Nice Breakfast in the restaurant each day, good happy hour at bar

Ordinary

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Cons: Ceiling tiles in hallway were broken. The housekeeping staff--two people--were quite loud. Quiet in a hotel is always nice.
Location: Harrisburg was really nice. We walked to an island in the river, across a pedestrian bridge, and saw a minor league baseball game.
This is a very ordinary hotel with some age to it. Nothing particularly nice, but not offensive.

breakfast ends up being about 15 bucks a day. they ONLY have valet parking at 18 bucks a day. that's 33 bucks I wouldn't pay at Hampton Inn.

Very noisy and tight quarters.

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: It was available and staff was nice.
Location: Near City Island and Whitaker Science Museum. Harrisburg is a small city but I heard every noise from this hotel.
Very polite, helpful and friendly front desk. Hotel was extremely noisy - you could hear every footstep from the halls and every car, fire truck, etc driving by. I thought I left the window open because it was so loud. Not much space in the room so everything is cramped. There's a clean bed, a tv and a warm shower so you have the basics. Other than a very pretty lobby, it was the same level as a Motel 6, but at a much higher price. Parking is $18/day. Valets were very quick retrieving cars and very nice.

Not what I expected from the Crowne Plaza. Small rooms and bathrooms not as clean. Other hotel guests were drunk and loud. Bad experience. Not staying there ever again!

Disappointed,thought would have been closer

There to visit Hershey. On site says Hershey/Harrisburg,assumed would be closer. Very city like, not nice area. Nowhere to get a dessert at night. Not happy.

Hotel with issues

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Many issues from the moment of checkin - Staff attempted to correct issues, but, there were just too many to keep up. Attractive and clean, yet old and in a noisy part of town.
