Poor reservation service and housekeeping.

Pros: Nice restaurant and lounge. Reasonably well kept.
Cons: Personell need to understand they are in the HOSPITALITY business.
Location: Well located if you have business with the state government.
Reserved a standard room. On arrival I was given a tiny handicapped room without a closet or even a hanger and a bathroom designed for a wheelchair. Called the desk and was told "sorry, it's our last room." Insisted I would not pay for the room and asked them to find a room in another hotel if necessary. Asked for the manager. Desk called 5 minutes later to say they miraculouly found a standard room and would move me. Poor treatment and bad experience. Next day I took a break from my conference and returned to the room to make some calls around 2pm. Room not yet cleaned. Placed 'Do Not Disturb" sign for about 45 minutes before returning to conference. Room still not cleaned when I returned at 5. 30. Front desk said it was my fault because I used the "Do Not Disturb" sign, however briefly. All housekeepers now gone. After more arguing a housekeeper was finally located and sent to clean the room. Did the desk not know a housekeeper was available or did they simply not care? Another unpleasant experience with poorly trained staff. Fitness center is poorly equipped. On the plus side, there's a nice lounge which serves good, reasonably priced food. On balance I'll stay at the Hilton next store when I need a room in Harrisburg.

Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. I wouldnt go there again because the parking is valet only at $18 per day. I like to get my car and go exploring a city new to me without the hassle of calling someone every time I want to go somewhere.

Better off sleeping on the sidewalk

Pros: Staff was okay.
Cons: Everything. Ever been to a nice hotel? Try being like that.
Location: It's Harrisburg. What do you want?
This place is way over-rated and over priced. I went camping the next day and had a better shower at the campground. At the crown plaza, the water in the shower would mysteriously stop. Terrible place.

Scary Neighborhood

Pros: I liked their service - It was quick and technologically effective.
Location: NOT a nice location. Harrisburg is a very ugly town.
Coming from Minneapolis, MN I was hoping for a nice place to stay on my business trip. I realized soon after driving through the Harrisburg area that the Hilton down the street seemed like the safest place for me to be staying. When I got to my room, I was horrified by the TINY bathroom and the view directly into the windows of the next building over. The pictures don't do this hotel justice because they're TOO good.

Easy access from I-83. Nice folks from the sidewalk on up, including the front desk. Easy valet parking. My first time there. Won't be my last time there.

Hard bed, small toilet. It was a room, but not a comfortable one.

Went to Pennsylvania's Progressive Summit. This hotle is about a block from the conference. It's nice to have free wifi in the room and not have to go the lobby.

The room was nice but nothing special. The bathroom was really tiny, everything in miniataure. Room was clean but night table lamp was broken. Downtown location was good. Lots of restaurants nearby.
