The underside of the bedspread had a huge stain and the mattress pad had what appeared to be body fluids on the edge. I called the hotel staff and they took care of it right away. It should not have happened. The room should have been inspected by someone before charging a customer for it. The carpet did not appear to be clean. I would not consider staying there again.

Our stay wasn't too bad. I've been in alot worse. I believe this hotel has gone through a management (name change) so differences were to be expected. The largest inconvenience was having to wait (my folks) for their room to be cleaned after we arrived. Management did apologize and the wait was about an hour after we arrived. The front desk person did say that the cleaning staff was very, very slow and that there was a gentleman there since 9 a.m. waiting for his room (it was currently after 2 in the afternoon). She apologized and the situation was taken care of. Other than that, the television didn't offer too many channels and our toilet worked off and on, but again, I've stayed in worse and overall that's why I gave it an 'OK' rating. It was just that, it was OK and it worked out.

The breakfast could be much better. Mosty people do not eat dard boiled eggs for breakfast, usually eggs and sausages or bacon. The rooms need to be aired out because they have a musty smell and people have been smomking in a non- smoking room.

It was clean but the rooms are old and need some upkeep, new painting of walls would be nice, new calking in bathrooms is needed as well. It is ok for sleeping if you are not expecting too much. We were barely in the room

The hotel room was located facing the highway so the traffic noise was quite loud even with the door closed and shades drawn. The secondary lock used to secure the door from external entry was completely broken off. There were water stains on the ceiling of the bathroom. There were gaping holes in the walls where painting and/or TV's previously hung but nothing to replace them. In pulling back the sheets on the bed, there were black stains on the sheets (they almost looked like they have black shoe polish on them). In addition, the knob used to turn on and off the heat/air unit in the room was stripped so the unit turned on but it was nearly impossible to get it to turn off. While I respect that the cost is low for this hotel, the issues that I experienced should not be present (even in a budget hotel). While the staff was friendly overall, there are serious issues related to maintenance and cleanliness that need to be addressed.

I was given a card to the door of my room and there was someone in the room already. Fortunately the woman didn't see me. It could have been rather embarrassing for her. Breakfast was disappointing.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical free breakfast, nothing too special.. Will stay again when in the area.

This is one of two Days In we stayed at during our recent road trip. This location is York is cleaner than the one in the Cleveland Area.

For the price of this hotel, it is exceptional. Friendly staff and great amenities like cable, fridge, microwave, wireless internet, etc. made my stay quite comfortable. Some things like the TV and overall appearance were a little older but still in great shape and was a good place to stay for the night.
