No, not by choice.........this place is old needs updating and staff who wants to be there instead of feeling punished for their time there. Ice machines would be greatly appreciated. I had to ask desk clerk and she must have taken the ice from her personal refergeriator.

good locationPosted Oct 30, 2012
We stayed at this hotel because of it's location and price. The room was arranged oddly and the tv was only in Spanish. There were steps in our room that led to the adjoining room. We could hear the people and their tv through that door quite clearly. The rugs were very stained and severely worn out. It seemed to be clean though. With so many hotels in the area, next time we will try a different one.

Hotel seemed clean. Very low budget look and price. Old bathroom. Towels need to be replaced. Obviously washed over and over. Not bad over all as everything else was booked. Thats what you get for waiting till the last minute. Very close to Hershey park.

a place to crash for a few hoursPosted Oct 10, 2012 on Hotels.com
Hershey Travel Inn was the worst place I have ever been in. We were only staying a few hours so I didn't leave because I already paid over the phone site unseen. I will never do that again! I was afraid of chatching something and didn't want my children to touch anything! Nothing pretty about this old place. No dead bolt lock on door, heater smelled like it was going to catch fire so we turned it off. Safety was an issue. Rugs were dirty, mold in bathroom, towels horrible. We could hear the people next to us talking. All I needed in the morning was coffee but you had to go in to the office and turn on the pot, not good after a sleepless night.

The hotel was conveniently located to Hershey Park but a bit run down. The people at the hotel were very nice and accommodating. The place needs an upgrade.

Please avoid this placePosted Aug 29, 2012
Absolutely terrible place on earth with horrible and a very rude receptionist. Wanted to charge me $15 for 5 minutes of late checkout - I am not kidding. I did not pay but the attitude of the person and the place can be completely avoided. There are beautiful and affordable accommodation places in Hersheys town. Please avoid this adventure in this beautiful town. Thank you.
