“Holiday inn express in harrisburg east”

Recently remodeled and very nice, comfortable bedding.

“Very clean and comfortable”

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Harrisburg over Memorial Day Weekend to visit Hershey Park. I was impressed with the modern decor of both the room and lobby. Check in was easy. Our room was very clean and tidy with a large flat screen tv (awesome!) and a small refrigerator. Bed was very comfortable. The only negative about the room was the ice bucket and coffee maker both had water sitting in there..looks like the maid may have forgotten to empty these out. Everything else looked clean though. The lobby was great! Two computers for guests to use free of charge with a SUPER fast connection (faster than my dsl at home). The computers were usually vacant when I went to use them. The lobby also has a breakfast area with tables and chairs. They had bagels, muffins, sausage patties, scrambled eggs (the cheap kind), biscuits, coffee, juice, milk, hard boiled eggs, a toaster. It was pretty nice but there was a 10-15 minute wait on line when I went for breakfast. There is a small exercise room indoors on the first floor with 1 or 2 flat screen tvs and a few machines (treadmill, elliptical) towels and water cooler. There is a small pool outside that looked decent..towels provided outside. Overall, I really liked this hotel and would definitely stay here again (I usually like to try new hotels each time but I might make an exception for this one).

The hotel was very inviting, clean, and comfortable. All staff were very accomodating and curtious.

Our room was the average sized hotel room. We had a mini fridge, which was great! The hotel staff is very friendly. The breakfast is OK. Weekends they ran out of all food, and the poor employee that was in charge of restocking was working his butt off. They need more help on weekends for sure. Nice location with several restaurants close by. Hershey park was only a 15 min. drive, and convenient to the freeways. We had an issue with our toilet that they tried to fix. The employees smoke in a room just off the east stairwell, so that stairwell, and part of the main hallway is really stinky like smoke. They should smoke outside if it is a smoke free hotel. That would be my biggest complaint.

“Pleasantly surprised, greatly improved”

This used to be the Comfort Inn Harrisburg-East but it was recently changed to a Holiday Inn Express and what a change it is. All of the rooms have been remodeled. The bedding is extremely comfortable, Desk space is ample, internet service is quick-really this feels more like a boutique hotel than a typical chain. The bathroom was kind of small but I really had no problem with this. I would highly recommend this hotel, I've stayed at many in the Harrisburg area and this one really stands out.

“Pleasantly surprised”

I reserved the rooms for my family who was visiting for my graduation. They thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The decor design was quite chic and colors warm. The linens were clean, but wrinkled. The continental breakfast was a feast for all.

Check-in was easy and they have a basket of free cookies at the desk - nice treat after a day spent traveling! Hotel is pet-friendly, with an additional charge of $10 per night for our dog. Room was clean with comfortable beds and a flat screen TV. Shopping center next door with many food options. The location was very convenient to all the local attractions and it's right off the interstate. Continental breakfast was excellent, with a variety of things to choose from and some hot items also. There are two complimentary computers you can use in the lobby. My only complaint would be that there is only one elevator for all 5 floors and it is SLOW as can be. We were on the 5th floor and ended up taking the stairs most of the time, even with the dog. Also, the first floor east hallway really stinks like smoke, and I had to use that exit several times to take my dog outside. Overall, this is a really nice place and I would recommend it to others.

“A star is born!”

From the moment we entered to the moment we left, everything was perfect. I would say our first very good family experience in a hotel for a one night stay. Very clean room, nice outdoor pool, very courteous and friendly staff. Will go there again on our way back home to Montreal! Bravo!

I went to this hotel with my new husband, the night before we went to Hershey Park. It was a wonderful stay. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend Holiday Inn Expresses!

“Perfect for Hershey and Dog Owners”

We stayed there on a recent weekend to Hershey with our dog. Check-in was super easy and they have a basket of cookies at the desk. Hotel was pet-friendly. Additional charge per night per pet, was is very reasonable. Room was great with huge bed and flat screen TV. Shopping center next door with many food options. Turn off highway was a little tricky.
