This is a fairly modern hotel. Little bit out of the way and you need to drive to nearby shops / restaurants but then you wouldn't be staying here if you didn't have a car

Everything about this hotel was great! Room was clean, Breakfast was great, Staff was helpful and friendly, and check in/out was a breeze.

“Great stay”

I only stayed here overnight when I was in the area, but it was a great hotel. Check in was quick and friendly. Parking is in the back and you need to walk up stairs depending on where you park, but it was no issue for me because I didn't have much luggage. Our room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was a bit tiny, but it served my purposes. Bed was comfy and I slept well. I would have liked an extra blanket in the room, but I didn't ask for it so it was my own fault. Continental breakfast was better than most with egg and cheese omelets, pancakes, sausage, and sausage gravy, plus different types of pastires, breads, fruit, yogurt, and hard boiled eggs. Their cinnamon buns are delicious. If you stay there ask for a room away from the elevator. We were right near the elevator and people were noisy in the morning, but that had nothing to do with the hotel.

I stayed at the HIE because my daughter is planning on attending York College in the Fall. I checked on many hotels online and decided to stay here. I am glad I did. We checked in quite late, long drive to get there. When we walked in the hotel clerk announced our name, it was quite funny. He set up an early wake up call and when we got to our room I found it to be very clean. The beds were comfortable as well. The breakfast was included, and my daughter enjoyed it because there was quite a variety of item to choose from. The hotel is just a few turns to the school and we were there in no time. I will stay here whenever I visit her.

We have stayed in this motel numerous times, even when it was under different ownership. With Holiday Inn, it has continues to provide the excellence that we have come to expect.

Checked in late. Everything was ready. Clean room, free internet. Breakfast was great. Hotel is coveniently located just near I-83. Very pleasant stop.
