Overall Nice hotel but disappointed that kids could not play pool. They were not allowed in gym or hot tub. It said online there were board games and puzzles but they said at hotel there were none. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was big and it was heated so that was a plus. I would stay again if I did not have the kids with me.

I loved that the front desk staff upgraded my son and i to a "quieter" part of the hotel and a bigger room from where we were, on their behalf. Just to make up for not having breakfast in the morning. We loved the pool, arcade, and playground area. Definitely will be staying here again!

The customer service was great. Randy the owner contacted me after my stay, because I was disappointed due to the hot tub not working. He made everything right by me, and gave me a complimentary stay for the inconvenience. Many hotels wouldn’t do that, but this one did and I appreciated it very much. The rooms are nice and clean. Parking is convenient also. I do recommend this hotel for your getaway!

Amazing experience. Owner upgraded me to a suite. Staff were awesome. Indoor pool has a TV and staff was able to turn the NFL games when they saw me entering the pool with my 3 little ones. Nice BIG outdoor hot tub. Very close to all the major restaurants. This place is a gem if you have little ones.

What a fantastic find! The place is impeccably clean and updated; the indoor pool huge, clean & ready for a party or family gathering; the restaurant and bar staff went out of their way to please us! Manager is right on top of every detail. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place.

Great Family Hotel
We try to always stay here when we visit Hershey! Everyone is always friendly. Rooms are clean and comfy. Has a tub incase you have little ones. Great hotel when you have a group of people. Its old but that doesn’t bother me at all! Has plenty of stuff to do also. Indoor and outdoor pool, playground, common area with tvs, Arcade, bar, pool tables, restaurant! And also always reasonably priced!

Great Hotel in Harrisburgh
The hotel check-in was fast and staff very friendly. The location of the hotel was the best. It was close to everything Harrisburg can offer. Only 12 min from Hershey Park and close to many restaurants. The sports bar was great with decent pricing. My kids loved the indoor pool that was open from 8AM. I would stay here over and over again.

Best location for all Hershey activities
We had a great time staying at this hotel. The hotel had an indoor pool where my sons enjoyed swimming. The sports bar was nice and breakfast was moderately priced with a good food selection. Staffs were friendly. The best was that the location was close to all of Hershey has to offer for a family vacation. I will stay here again.

Clean, spacious room - VERY dated
The room was very dated and in need of some serious upgrades. The lighting is bad, and you have to turn on each lamp individually. The bathroom was very small and the toilet paper dispenser set up was awkward. You have to reach across from the toilet to the sink to get toilet paper. So beware if you have short arms. The shower maintained good temperature and perfect pressure. Otherwise, the room was extremely spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean though. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

In town for RV show
Overall our stay was good. The room and bathroom were clean, although the bathroom was on the small size and water pressure could have been better. Our first night we could hear our neighbor snoring and our last night we could hear their TV quite early in the morning. Breakfast wasn't included, so we only ate at the hotel one morning and for the price, there was nothing offered that isn't offered as complimentary at other hotels we have stayed at.

The room we stayed in was ok out dated had a slight slope coming out of the bathroom and 1st time I went out of the bathroom and I didn’t know about the slope stumbled and hit closet door. Had a very early morning flight and was told that the hotel had a courtesy van but found out it doesn’t start til 7:00am. I had to leave hotel at 5:30am to catch flight, so luckily I had a friend that was able to take me to the Airport.

Comfortable/accommodating if you travel with pets!
We traveled with 3 pups and the Red Lion Inn was so accommodating and reasonable (flat $25 fee no matter how many pets). The staff was very helpful and friendly. The grounds are amazing…beautiful pool and hot tub. Lots of areas to walk the pups from the first floor rooms for folks with pets. We stayed on our way to our destination and on the way back. Would return in a heart beat.

One night/one try was enough
Hotel is old and it shows. Expect stains, torn wallpaper, etc… The floor that we were on (corridor) had a terrible smell. Like a “hit you in the face” terrible smell. Beds are hard, sheets are rough and pillows are tiny. Not a good night’s sleep. Price was decent though (you pay for what you get), close proximity to Hersheypark and front desk staff was very friendly. We were there for 12 hours.

Fantastic and pet friendly!
We loved the room and the ability to walk our dogs in the pool courtyard. It was an easy find off the highway and the staff was super helpful and friendly.

Restaurant not open very inconvenient
Really wanted to like this hotel it checked all the boxes the positive Front end staff deliver excellent customer service John at check in was very helpful Samathia answering all our questions and having the temperature in the indoor pool fixed Travis being personal everyday and finding coffee for us on Friday when the restaurant wasn’t open and Carlette I believe at checkout was very friendly The pool and hot tub is great only wish the weather would have been better The negative restaurant and lounge was not open for dinner when we were told it would be open by several employees My husband had an accident 3 years ago and is mobile limited we have not been able to go away anywhere and wanted to go somewhere local first just to get away for a couple of days we selected this hotel because we would not have to leave the hotel until check out We took a wheelchair van service to the hotel and also scheduled a pickup for check out planed to use the restaurant and lounge for breakfast and dinner We had to spend extra money to get Uber's to go out to eat which was a little challenging for my husband mobility and on Friday the restaurant wasn’t open even for breakfast No coffee either thanks Travis for getting us coffee When reservations are made if something is not available or open maybe a email should be sent out to the guests and should definitely be communicate to the front end staff as we were told at check in the restaurant would be open on Thursday and it was not
