“We will be back”

It was great and convenient to stay at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg-East. Our room was great, very comfortable and shuttle service to and from airport was excellent.

“Simple, easy and what we needed for one night”

Staff was great - we only needed a place to crash after a day at the spa, and this was fine. A little worn - but clean. Huge pool with play area - we didn't use but noted it for future use with the kids. Places to eat close by.

“Really Bad Housekeeping, Overall Good”

Stayed for 2 nights but the 2nd night there was no housekeeper to clean the room. I complained to the front dest but the lady had an bad attitude. Sent 2 girls to change the bed sheets. I appreciate them. I blame the manager for not checking the rooms if they're cleaned and them for not appoligizing. The pools are great.

“Average: Needs renovation”

Nice place but you can tell that it's getting a little run down. They really need to remodel. It's clean and comfortable though. I'll stay there again.

“Not bad on a tight budget...”

If we had not recieved the 55% discount through Expedia, we would have been extremely dissapointed. But, based onother reviews, we knew it would be tired and lack a high level of cleanliness. it was ok for one night when visiting Hershey Park.

“OK, but not great”

Hotel was nice once upon a time, but older now. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. I arrived late and they didn't have the room that I reserved, even though the reservation was made well ahead of time. The room they put me in was ground floor and the AC didn't work at all. It was very hot and muggy. I had to wait a half hour at 11:30 pm for them to clean an alternate room with working AC. Parts of this hotel are noticeably run down. Carpets in the hallways are old and stained/dirty looking. Overall the room was clean enough and staff were very nice, but wouldn't stay here again if I had a choice. Far below average compared to other hotels in this chain.
