“Very Nice Place to Stay!”

Clean, comfortable, and a really nice heated pool that the kids loved! I liked the restuarant on premesis. Had a Great breakfast at reasonable prices. Lots of choices and kids 12 and under eat free from the kids menu! Service was very good, too. Highly recommended.

“Good value in Pennsylvania”

Really good value. Nice, clean room, comfortable bed. Highly recommended. Complimentary breakfast is almost a given anymore, but not at this hotel -- it would have been nice, but not really necessary.

Area recommendations

The Heritage Rail Trail, which originates in York and extends South to Maryland, was a great, scenic bike ride.

“Very good hotel!”

Holiday Inn at York, PA has very good facilities, location, and most of its staff served very well its clientele. I recommend it to prospective guests.

Area recommendations

All surrounding neighborhood is very nice. Great restaurants, farms, wineries, big and small stores as well as the people from the area are graceful and welcoming! The Harley Davidson plant is a great place to visit. I discovered a great club La Isla for those who like latin dances.

“York, Pennsylvania”

The hotel is an unique little gym. It has a great restaurant and their facilities are kept clean and up to date. My family really enjoyed themselves. Great for a short get-a-way.

Area recommendations

Amish Country (Dutch Country) is an interesting tourist spot. We enjoyed seeing how other people live without the use of modern day technology. The tours were quite relaxing and educational.

Dining

Logan's Run food was excellent. It has an excellent All- American menu that would please even the most picky eater. Be aware of the peanut shells on the floor. Each table is given a bucket of endless roasted peanuts in which customers are expected to disregard the shells on the floor.

“Very convenient!”

I chose this hotel for our honeymoon because of its location and the fact that it had a restaurant and lounge. It was perfect and our evening waitress was wonderful!

“Very Good for the Money”

We stayed there August 27, 2009. I was very impressed at the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom was a nice size and very clean. My only complaint was the air conditioner. It made a humming noise. The kids loved the indoor pool.

Traveler's tip

We stayed here because it was close to York College (my oldest just started college). It is only 10 minutes away from the college and very convenient.
