“very cheap rate ...but you get what you pay for”
Water was out in the main building when we checked in, so we were moved to one of the outer buildings. It was very sketchy. Asked for adjoining rooms, but they weren't joined, just right next to each other. The rooms were large, but they really skimp on stuff. Only 2 thin towels, and tiny bars of soap. Beds were very uncomfortable. Probably wouldn't stay there again.
“Extremely disappointed”
room temperature could not be controlled. It was either frigid or extremely hot, the pool was in a separate building, which is not explained on their website and is very inconvenient for those who want to swim, but not go into cold weather to dry off. They could not provide a receipt when I paid for the room, said "you can get it from the website where you reserved the room". There was no facial tissue although there were two empty holders in the room. The sheets on the bed needed to be replaced.
“needs some tlc”
the timer for the lights was not changed, so we arrived to a dark hotel. the lobby and conference areas are nice. the rooms need some attention. we had a broken lampshade and i had to turn on the water to the toilet myself. the ac thermostat was not working properly. it was either way too hot or too cold. also, the key lock to the side door was broken so anyone could enter the hotel. the same empty miller lite box was sitting next to the side door for 2 days. the hotel could be a great place to stay, it just needs an owner and employees that care. and it wouldnt cost any money to show some effort.
“disappointed”
It's not the 1st time i go to this hotel with my 3 kids and they used to love the pool and the wirlpool. But this time the room was still clean and the staff really nice but the pool was really cold and not only the water but the whole place. The water in the wirlpool was dirty and smelled bad and it was cold and not working at all. So i won't go back.
“Would not go back”
No hot water, only one hand towel and 2 bath towels for 2 people for 2 days. No replenishment of tissue despite leaving the empty boxes in plain sight. They said the hot water was broken but didn't bother to notify us. Didn't find out until stepping in the shower of course!
“terrible service”
the hotel was staffed by people who don't care. the steak house was a joke, the potato was burnt, the bread was cold when it came to us, the fish was under cooked and had to be put in a microwave for a few moments, terrible meal for the money we spent there. mcdonalds would of been better and alot cheaper. we live and we learn, i wont be going back there.
“won't go back”
hotel is too old and without updates hallway and room have the odor of an old building
“Worst Hotel Ever”
The pictures were nothing at all like the hotel. Checking in took 45 minutes and there were only three people in front of us. When the receptionist finally got to us, she said, "How about that rush!" as if four people in line over 45 minutes was so busy. When we got to the room, we were assailed by the overpowering smell of mildew. The bed was ancient and shuddered every time anyone moved on it. There was no mattress pad and the sheets were thin and had holes in them. We had to brush the pubic hair off of the sheets before laying down. The floors were dirty... and we found a rotting certs still in the package on the floor (that's how wet the room was... that a certs would get wet mold on it). There was no dresser, and the tiny drawers in the TV cabinet held very little. The bathroom was filthy and moldy, with 60s era toilet and shower. I would recommend paying half of what they charged and stay at a Motel 6. It would be bigger, much cleaner, and wouldn't stink.
“Hotel Carlisle”
This hotel has a hot water problem. We had to have cold showers the night we arrived and the next morning. I complained and was told they would let maintenance know on Monday. Since I got their Thursday night I decided to check out because I don't know about anyone else but hot water is essential component to having a hot shower.
“Not impressed”
2.5 stars was generous. Our room did not have hot water.
