“Hershey chocolate factory”

The first night we had a problem with the people next door. The next day I told the person at the front desk and they took care of it. We had a lot of fun at hershy the kids had a lot of fun .

“Close to Hershey Park and the rooms are fine.”

The hotel is near the Hampton Inn and the signs are very similar, so be careful you don't end up there while arriving at night. The rooms have a fridge, microwave, LCD TV and coffee maker. The eating are for the complimentary breakfast is very small. You need to get up early to have some space for you and your family. The continental breakfast is very basic, bagels, cereal, milk, coffee, juice, apples and a few bananas. There is a small outdoor swimming pool, a bar and restaurant. Overall, this is a nice but small hotel to stay for a few nights.

“Serves its purpose”

Very convenient to Hershey Park. However , this hotel should be used just as a place to sleep. Do not expect luxuries. Rooms are very small and their aren't any amenities. Sink is outside of the small bathroom. Hotel is located right off of a main highway. A/C did work well and the front desk is very helpful. They also provide free wifi. There are some good local restaurants about a mile away.

“Nice staff, but less comfortable room”

The hotel is renovating the rooms, and installing new carpets. Lobby and breakfast areas are a mess, but the breakfast service is still OK. The room was not quite comfortable because of the smell of the new carpet and a problem with the sink.

“Not a Bad Hotel for the Money”

I expected the worse when I got to this hotel after reading all of the reviews. However, it really wasn't that bad. Even though it was on a busy road, I had no trouble falling and staying asleep. The breakfast wasn't bad - bagels, cereal, donuts, muffins, fruit, juices, etc. I would definitely stay here again if I happen to be going to Hershey.

“Good hotel and great location.”

Our stay here was overall good. The continental breakfast definately needed to be attended to better; for example, milk was warm, hot water not really hot enough, had to ask for more coffee, it ran out, also had to ask for napkins, those ran out. Breakfast choices were good though. Our room was clean but small. Not enough room between the beds and tv/furniture, we (one couple and a 12 year old) kept knocking each other over trying to cross through room but we did not spend a lot of time in the hotel room so did not bother us all that much. Air conditioning in the hallways would be nice. Location for all Hershey Park attractions is excellent. Hotel restuarant food is good and convienient after being out all day and most of evening and being tired, it's nice that it's right there. All service people overall were also good includes restuarant waitstaff and front desk. Did not experience any problems with noise at all.

“Ok for the price”

The hotel is clean. Staff was friendly. Located 2 miles from center city. Can't ask for more considering the price.

“Nice Place”

The Howard Johnson Inn Hershey was a nice surprise. I wasn't sure what to expect but was more than satisfied with my stay there. The room was nice, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast in the morning was good. If you are looking for a nice place to stay that is not too expensive, this is the place. I plan on staying here again when I return to Hershey.
