“Will go back and recommend.”
Owners and staff were the best.
“Nice overnight Hotel”
We had concert tickets at Hershey Stadium and were looking for somewhere to spend the night. It was perfect for that. Just a small room, but clean, super nice people, and very close to our event. The staff was very helpful to guide us to whereever we asked to go. We would defintely stay there again.
“Would love to go back and we will over the holiday season!”
I took my 3 daughters away for a long weekend to Hershey Park... After reviewing many hotels, I could have chose one that was more exspensive but I didn't - I chose this one and I'm glad that I did ! The people were very friendlyy (right down to offering us a ride to the hotel), it was close to the park and nice restaurants for breakfast & dinner... I got a nice "homey" feeling here and I would most definately stay here again.. Highly recommended, unless you're worried about staying "upper class"...
“Friendly, Convenient - Will stay there again”
Motel is right on Chocolate Ave. Although I didn't, you can walk to the park. You can follow employees walking in the AM (although they might lead to an employee only entrance). Driving is quick, especially on the way back to the hotel when you go out the back of the Hershey parking lot. Motel was fine. Room was clean and in good working order and decently sized. Owner or operator was very friendly and inviting. Met him at the pool. Pool is above ground with a deck at the ledge level and was very clean. It is a big above ground pool (but it is no monster resort size pool). We saw it both empty one afternoon and crowded another. No shampoo in the room was about the only down side. I really appreciated the check-out time flexibility they gave me on Sunday. Fridge in room worked really well. Most times those small fridges do nothing. Their's was very cold. Microwave too. Didn't use it.
“Definitely recommend this Motel”
I didn't know what to expect from this motel, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The motel was fully occupied, yet I never heard any noises coming from upstairs or next door. The room is equipped with a mini fridge and freezer, which is very important for me. We were even able to walk to Hershey Park (it's a little bit of a walk, but I figure with all the walking we'd do AT the park, the walk to it would be nothing). They do have a pool, which we did not utilize. We were only there to go to Hershey Park. The pool was an above ground oval pool. It's not very big, but if you have kids that like to splash around or cool off, it does the trick. I was kept clean though. They also have BBQ grills on the premises in the "common area" if you like to grill. I thought that was a nice touch, plus they have chairs set out under trees and on the balconies so just sit and enjoy the day. It is a very comfortable environment and I do recommend giving it a try. My only complaint was that the bed was a bit firm and I had trouble sleeping. But at least the beds weren't sagging in the middle or something like that. I would've just been nice to have a cushion top bed :o)
“Relaxing Trip”
The hotel is conveniently located in the center of town. You could walk to most of the attractions, if you chose. The rooms were clean and the staff was wonderful. We are planning on booking reservations this spring/summer, once the park opens.
“Different Than the NORM”
The positives were we were within walking distance to Hershey Museum and restaurants It was clean and comfortable. Hotel was different than most, but the rates were much better. We had a small room at top of stairs in the back. Window air conditioner, tv did not have clear picture. There was coffee and donuts the next morning in the office.
“You can hear the rides from the room!”
Hershey was great and I can't wait to go back. The hotel was convenient but very small. Not the kind of place you want to stay and swim, but a decent starting point for the park and/or surrounding day trips. I would have no problem staying there again.
“Great for quick overnight stay.”
wanted to try to find something affordable for a quick overnight stay. If that is what you are doing then this motel will suffice. Stayed on second floor in which we had to go up and down very steep steps and a narrow hall. I always check the beds before the kids climb into them and one of the beds looked as though it didn't have clean sheets or whoever put them on failed to brush them off.as it had long stray head hairs on it and some dirt particles. Would not choose this hotel if you are looking for updated and modern ammenities or if you are staying for a long period of time and want added comfort.
“Done on the cheap--you can tell”
Maybe other rooms not as bad, but ours was awful
