Property is really rough. Very disappointed that Expedia rated this an 8.2. Pictures are not even close to actual. We booked two nights. But didn’t stay at all. Would like a refund and would not recommend this place to anyone.

I informed about local dining to Katherine, daughter, grand child and they departed. I assumed for dinner. She didn't tell us that she was dissatisfied with room. We phoned at 10pm worried that an emergency had happened, no answer, left message, no reply. The outdoor lights, room heat remained on in case of late return. There's no charge as we were pleased not to endure her for 2 days. Reviews like this are usually nothing to do with us, some sort of personal delema that uses our business as an outlet. We usually don't respond to such reviews, but Expedia suggested a response. Might be the lunar eclipse.

They asked for more cash for a pet fee that I thought was covered with Expedia. The style in the rooms were mixed and out dated. Other than that it was nice.

The property is unique and is a farm type experience. The antique furniture is beautiful and so is the area. Coffee and toast was available as well as a community fridge. This would be a great spot for a bunch of friends to rent the whole place out.

The property is breathtakingly beautiful but does not offer anything aside from that. There is a hot tub but we weren’t allowed to turn on the device (so all it had was just warm water - which was good). There was hardly any food on the property or around, except a few fruits here and there. For a B&B, there was only bread, jam and a few fruits available for breakfast.

We were a B&B before Covid, but now a farm stay. The room rate is breakfast excluded (this is the only one rate we have now). Complimentary coffee, tea, juice, toast and jam are available in the morning. Sasquatch pub 3 minutes away, sandpiper golf course restaurant 4 minutes away. Apples, plums, pears on sight at this time with permission. Hot tub rules: don't push the buttons because you put it into sleep, econo mode or you change temperature. The temp was 104 degrees when I checked after you review.

The cabin looked upon the most beautiful view - it was so very peaceful out there…an utter oasis. The owners do a superb job on this property!

I had an okay stay. Was a little bit disappointed that there wasn't more of a walk about or anything explaining the place. Wasn't sure if we were able to use hot tub or how to use it so we weren't able to. The other people staying there were not particularly friendly. There was no breakfast or coffee or offerings of any kind. The beds were comfy. It's a beautiful location. I probably won't stay again tho.

Unique antiques from all over the world. They have musical instrument and even billiards to enjoy. But I would like to share my experience; while my visit, the water was orange rusty. No clean water means no functioning service for my family so we decided to leave after we found it out. However, I was surprised to witness the attitude of the one of the owners/managers (there are two) of the B&B, who hated to admit that he needed to take the ownership to the condition; instead, I was yelled at for claiming how unprofessional his attitude was in the most condescending tone of voice. The other person was reasonable and she processed the refund instantly. Overall: A beautiful farm house with amazing view of Harrison Mill, yet, only for whose who can roommate with potato bugs in the bedroom and who don't mind skipping showers during the stay in case of the unexpected warer pipe damage undetected prior to your visit.

Ecclectic combination of past and present, huge old boarding house. Fresh country farm air. Pleasant and present owners. Excellent price. We will go back next year! Loved the doggos too!

This property is set on a large piece of lovely agricultural land, with many buildings scattered about. The rooms are in a very large, rambling facility with a commercial kitchen, lots of couches and televisions, a pool table in an adjacent huge room. The bedroom we stayed in was up a flight of stairs, quite a ways from the entrance. Although spacious enough, the furnishings and linens are very dated although the bed was comfortable enough. The windows have limited opening ability for fresh air. There is a very noisy air conditioner fitted into the bedroom window.

Very cute farm stay. We were lead to the cabin by a guy on a tractor and warmly greeted for check in there were a lot of mosquitoes at this time of year but they also provided bug spray! It's a beautiful property. I would love to stay here again when the mosquitoes are not in season!

This is an excellent property for a group function. Large Building with lots of indoor things to do, pool table, music room, books/library, and a large kitchen and eating area. Lots of plants and sunshine, even indoors. Our room was also well appointed. We all loved the mix and match of old furniture. Comfy and pleasing to the eye

The property is huge and fantastic. Bedroom was big and nice, the aircon was ok to be honest. Bedroom was not lockable which made it little uncomfortable for us. More of a privacy issue especially when staying with other people. I guess they can fix it easily! Hosts Harold and Fei were super cool.

We phoned the guests at 9:30pm, no answer and then credit card declined. They arrived at 1:15am! (our check in time is 3pm-11pm) Please in the future advise your booked accommodation that you will be arriving late and estimated time of arrival. We have waited till 2:30 a.m. for plane travelers whose plane arrived late, but they kept us informed and updated the arrival time. Previous guest reviews can decide who was rude.

Hammond House is beautiful country farm setting. It is peaceful and quiet. The spacious room we stayed in had a solarium looking out on a green farmyard. The beautiful soaker tub and a shower was large and spacious. On the down side there was no microwave or in room coffee maker. Coffee was available outside the room in the main kitchen. The room was fairly clean but there was a slight lingering odour. Not a bad odour. Just a bit odd. They are in the process of renovations so that may account for the odour. All in all it was a nice stay and when the renovations are complete it will be awesome!

A different kind of place to stay. The king bed was nice for sleeping. We didn’t realize that there was an extra charge for breakfast than what we already had paid for the room. We have never experienced this charge at a property that was billed as a Bed and Breakfast. We sat around for well over an hour waiting - at least we had coffee.
