“Fantastic Hotel”

The hotel was great, friendly helpful staff from the moment I walked through the doors. The room was magnificent, you could tell it was recently renovated which made for an ever better stay because the hotel was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. I would stay here every time I go down to Virgina. Only real complaint is the location of the hotel. The intersection from which you go to get to the hotel is slow and always has a lot of traffic. But overall the quality of the rooms and service make up for a little bit of traffic. Would recommend this hotel to anyone

Stayed at this hotel while I was on a ski trip to Massanutten. The clerk at front desk was very pleasant, checked us in quickly, and was helpful in chosing a local restaurant for dinner.

We were delighted with our stay at the Holiday Inn in Harrisonburg, Va. The room was recently renovated. very clean, beautiful white towels and bed linens; sample soaps, lotions, etc. that not all hotels are providing these days. There was a great inside pool, restaurant and complimentary coffee in the morning. Employees were friendly and helpful. It was also in a great area for shopping and restaurants. We will certainly stay there anytime we're in the area and recommend it to family and friends.

We wanted an indoor pool and booked this hotel to enjoy this extra bonus. The pool was very well kept and enjoyable. The restaurant was also well staffed and the food well prepared. The front desk staff was also very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely choose this hotel again when in this area.

Chose this hotel based on location - we needed a halfway point between NJ and NC on the drive there and back. Was with my husband and three children - booked two rooms, they anticipated our needs by automatically giving us adjoining rooms on both stays. Hotel desk and bartender/waitress were very friendly and helpful. Hotel wasn't crowed over the holidays. Worked out great because they have a bar area with a pool table, a restaurant and room service, so after driving all day with three kids, we didn't have to go anywhere once we arrived and we had our choice of staying in the room or going down to the restaurant. Food choices were basic, but sufficient. Pool area was awesome, all three kids of varied ages enjoyed our stay. Hotel wasn't crowded, rooms were clean and spacious. Wi-fi worked fine. Would definitely stay again, and would recommend.

I would definitely return to this hotel for another stay if I return to this area for business. I was there for four nights, five days and because of a snow/ice storm I used the hotel restaurant several times as a result. It was a great meal every time... large portions at a resonable price! Workers were very pleasant and accomodating. Thank you!

“Nice hotel convenient to the interstate, JMU and downtown”

The Holiday Inn was conveniently located to everything in Harrisonburg as well as the interstate. The layout of the hotel is attractive with a nice indoor pool and hot tub close to the lobby, bar and restaurant. Rooms were clean and neatly outfitted. Only drawback to this hotel is they charge for breakfast. So many hotels provide a free breakfast that is has become an expectation. Only thing free in the morning is coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
