“got a lemon, staff were excellent”
the whirlpool would not hold water literally, the TV did not work and wi-fi was weak in my room. the staff took care of everything ASAP.
“Would stay there if I ever had to go back to Hartford.”
My only complaint is that they didn't have any eggs for breakfast. and, although breakfast lasts until 10:00, they not only quit replenishing things but started carrying them away about 9:50. This is fine if your sign says that breakfast ends at 9:50.
“It was ok. Very loud at times.”
Not the best and a bit expensive. It was filled to capacity and there was no parking in their lot at the end of the night. Also drunken fools traipsing up and down the halls screaming at 2 am.
“Basic Inn”
Small basic inn with neat/clean rooms. The decor was nice by the reception desk. The breakfast area in the morning was extremely small and there was no place to sit at a table. They only had two tables for four and two tables for two people. So we ended up sitting on some wing back chairs and the selection is very limited. Also the room we had did have the smell of stale smoke, we opened the window and let it air out a bit, then turned on the air and that helped. The pool and hot tub were nice and never crowded. We found the staff helpful and accommodating. The rooms did not have an iron, but there is one down the hall in the laundry area that you can use. We brought the iron to our room, used it and then returned it.
