“Middle of the Road . .”

The hotel was fine considering that we basically just dropped off our luggage and went about our reason to be in the area which had nothing to do with the hotel or the area immediately nearby and we were basically just there to sleep. It was a very busy weekend for the hotel, and somewhat loud while we were there. There was a dog barking in our hallway at one point, which I found a bit unusual. That being said, the front desk staff were very upbeat and professional and there are no real complaints -- just nothing special, either.

“FIne hotel”

It is a fine hotel, but event was cancelled and I did not stay there. Booked early so could not change or cancel. Not the hotel's fault.

“Good Location, Excellent Staff - few physical issues, but recommended”

On check-in, everyone from the lobby clerk to the front desk staff were extremely helpful. Check-in was fast and easy, and Michael, who checked me in was extremely personable and attentive. He also gave me a great recommendation for a nearby restaurant. The room was clean and in good condition - the bed was comfortable, and I had a good night's sleep. Two issues with my stay: the tv was in somewhat poor condition. It seemed that the resolution did not match the screen size - text bars on CNN and other stations strayed off the screen so they were not legible (the first words were chopped off). Also the shower took a very long time to give hot water. Finally - the fan in the bathroom is an always on type of deal - there was what looked like a plastic lid mounted into the bathroom wall. You turn it clockwise to close it, and counter-clockwise to open it. When it was opened, it did a great job of cleaning the bathroom air after a shower. It was just extremely noisy. All in all, I was very satisfied with the quality of the hotel. It is definitely not a cheapest place to stay, but you feel like you are getting the extra quality that you paid for.

“Hilton Hartford October 2011”

The hotel is decent. It's not like the other Hilton's but it cost a lot less than the nearby comparable places and has very comfy beds.

“Very good business hotel”

I spend time in Hartford for business meeting. The Hilton works very well for me when I am there. I look for a number of things when I am away from home, such as: - The restaurant is better than a typical hotel restaurant. It is actually a darn good choice. I like to have a fitness center as well. This one has everything you need for that early morning workkout, including a pool. The rooms are very clean and come with free WiFi. And finally, the staff has all been great. I feel like they are looking to be helpful. Very friendly and great place to stay when in Hartford. The location is right in the middle of the City.

“Better pricing”

Nice, prcing is a little steep, only room service in the morning and restuarant hours are not spelled out. That means you go hungry in between lunch and dinner if you don't get out of the hotel. Apart from this, we had a good stay.

Area recommendations
You have to be careful or walk in groups since someone was robbed during our stay

“Great Hotel for Connecticon”

I recently stayed at the Hartford Hilton while attending Connecticon with a few friends. The hotel that the convention center is connected to fills up fast, but the Hilton was an excellent alternative. It is just a short, pleasant walk from the convention center and there are plenty of places to stop along the way for food and ATMs. We were able to have dinner delivered to our room with no problem. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the room was spotless and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

“Can't wait for next years convention to go back!”

The M&M resturant is THE BEST hotel resturant I have ever been to! The food and service was AMAZING! The only thing that I did not like about my room was the bathroom had a standing shower without a lip at the bottom and the bathroom flooded one morning after a shower.

Area recommendations
The Connecticut Science Center, amazing museum and the architecture of the building is so modern and beautiful, inside and out!
Dining
You don't even have to leave the hotel! The resturant there is amazing! I was staying there for a convention at the Connecticut Convention Center and the Marriot hotel. The Marriot only had a coffee shop. It was so nice to be able to go back to our hotel and know we were going to have a great meal when we got there that wasn't too expensive... and breakfast was included in what I paid for for the room!
