“Not good”

Carpet needed cleaning, room smelled like smoke, breakfast was terrible. Worst HI Express I've ever stayed in. Should downgrade it to HI.

“Great addition to the Bradley Airport hotel family”

Really liked this hotel. The only drawback was the pool - small and cold. Other than that, it was great.

“Perfect for the in and out business trip”

Very close to rental car row. From the time I left my hotel room and returned my car, checked a bag and made it to the gate it took only 37 minutes. Rooms were very spacious, new and clean, price was great and wi fi was easy. Not much going on around the hotel in the entertainment/dinner arena though. A couple fast food joints and a Valero next door. I would recommend for a short trip.

Area recommendations

Suffield is a few miles away and looked really nice...sure there was some places to eat there but I drove right through en route to golf outing. Would not recommend Springfield...just not my style though.

“Breakfast was awesome!”

The hotel was only minutes from the airport and was very comfortable. The staff at the front desk was extra specially nice to us. We came in late and they were very accommodating. Our flight didn't leave until late and the front desk allowed us to check out one hour late. We would have liked to check out later but they were going to charge us an extra day for another hour.

“Ideal stopover hotel”

This is a clean, quiet, comfortable hotel. It is perfect for a 1 night stopover when arriving late or leaving early from Bradley. All the staff was very pleasant and helpful. We were quite impressed with the young woman who was in charge of the breakfast area on the Saturday morning. In all our travels all over the world, I have to say she was the first person from a hotel breakfast staff who ever cared to ask us if we had a good night sleep and was there anything else she could get for us! Very reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to stay at the airport.

“Very friendly/helpful staff and very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel.”

The employees at the front desk were always available to answer questions about the surrounding area, point us to good resturaunts and last minute site seeing venues. My hotel room itself was clean and very comfortable. Of course, being able to walk out every morning and get a free breakfast is always a perk. The staff there kept the area fully stocked and they were on hand to make sure it stayed clean as well.

“Very impressed”

Very impressed with Holiday Inn Express as we have been in our past stays. The hotel offers very comfortable, clean rooms, and superb customer service with all the amenities. If your traveling in and out of Bradley Airport in Hartford we highly recommend this hotel.

Traveler's tip

Restaurants located within walking distance are few. The hotel recommended "Best Choice Pizza" a great pizza & sandwich restaurant who delivered to our room, the food was superb, and the service was fast.
