We stayed there for one night b.c. had a UConn visit, which was a 30 min drive from the hotel. The room was clean, the bedding was super comfortable. The staff very nice! Would definitely stay there again with my family.

I am sorry - that you found one desk clerk at 12 midnight- how many people did you expect ?- for that reason you left and we gave you full refund. Did you think your were checking in Four seasons Hotel in NYC with 10 people at the desk?

Room was clean as well as bathroom. It was spacious and air smelled clean. The only unethical thing was that cleaning staff knocked and since I didn’t come to the door right away they opened the door, I was sleeping, then they continued to knock just ti ask if I wanted cleaning. Literally 3 seconds after knocking opened up. But other than that it was good. The entrance is outside like a motel style but once in the room it was good.

Newly remodeled rooms!
The room we were in was newly renovated and was beautiful!! You could still smell the fresh paint. It was super clean, fresh and comfortable. The guy at the front desk was very pleasant. Highly recommend.

Not What You are Expecting
To begin, the type of lodging was not a hotel it is a motel. I feel like the photos and the descriptions were misleading. The staff here were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our check-in was incredibly fast too. However, the property itself is a little run-down with dumpsters sitting outside, paint cans and other supplies laying on the steps. The rooms were also not great. They felt dirty and there were hairs on the bathroom floor, shower, and sink. The corners of the carpet and the room were also not cleaned. The bed was absolutely the worst part of it all. They have it sitting on a metal base and every single time you move it sounds like an empty metal filing cabinet popping. The mattress was also lumpy and just very uncomfortable. As for safety, I'm not familiar with the areas surrounding Hartford, and I really don't know what it was, but it just felt unsafe. If you are staying for one night passing through, it's not bad. I thought we were getting something better for the ratings and how much we paid (which for a motel, I definitely think was too pricey), but again for one night it wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed.

The bed was very comfortable, the parking lot had a lot of spots and was convenient to a lot of restaurants. One thing I did not know was that it is a motel style with doors on the outside so if that’s not something that you like, I wouldn’t stay there but we stayed on the second floor and I felt safe.

We stayed here based on other reviews. I have no idea how these people did it. This place is disgusting. The toilet was dirty. Urine and what appeared to be fecal matter on the seat. Roach was a nice touch. Dead bolt has been previously torn off and reinstalled, and not well either. Entire room was filthy. Do not stay here unless you want to burn your pjs after.

Sweet little motel. A little dated and could use some tweaks to room systems and layout. (No thermostat to adjust/turn off heat, leaky faucet and no way to block light in vanity bathroom area if someone was still asleep.) The staff were all very pleasant and everything was spotlessly clean.

Service and location were excellent. However, the condition of the hotel is not great, it needs a big update but at least it was clean. Breakfast was surprisingly poor and we are not picky, only cereal and cinnamon cake were provided. Only recommendable for a quick night of sleep before continuing a long drive.

Thanks for your feedback Ivan - Breakfast is simple with cereal, pastry, oatmeal and coffee/Juice - of course better breakfast comes with lot higher price at Hampton Inn.
