“Ugly outside, great inside”

It's an eyesore on the outside, but quite lovely with really nice employees, perfectly located, and a lot cheaper than the other two hotels within that three-block area. Highly recommend.

“Fine hotel”

It was a fine hotel. Free internet. Right off the highway, quick easy access.

“If safety isn't a concern, stay here. Seriously.”

Room was nice and clean. View of the highway was uninspired but there were no noise issues. The only problem was safety. The garage (which offers free parking- a big plus) had had a recent rash of breakins. We received a notice telling us not to leave valuables in plain sight and that security had been increased, but there was no sign of security anywhere. Furthermore, the elevator from the garage went directly to hotel rooms, you didn't even need a key card to get up there.

“Clean, average hotel, nice staff”

This Ramada is just ok. Nothing to remember it by. It is clean, and relatively comfortable (although my wife didn't like the relatively hard. I slept ok on it). Staff in the front desk, as well as the housekeeping staff were all very nice. The view from our room was of the highway and an empty lot. Very easy access from the highway, and the downtown Hartford location is nice. Free parking on the weekend was also a very nice plus.

“SCARY PARKING LOT”

SCARY AND DANGEROUS PARKING SITUATION ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. VERY NICE FRONT DESK STAFF UNFORTUNATELY MY ROOM DID NOT GET CLEANED ON THE SECOND DAY OF MY STAY HOWEVER NIGHT STAFF DID TRY TO HELP ME OUT. THE HEATER IN THE ROOM WAS SO NOISY THAT I HAD TO TURN IT OFF TO BE ABLE TO SLEEP. GREAT SIZE ROOM, EXCELLENT BED, GENEROUS LINEN,

“Decent.....”

Ehhh.....It was decent. I would stay again for business; not leisure. Room was clean; little rust in the bathroom (not dirty but a tad old). The parking garage is scary; Iucked out; not a lot of people were there so I parked in front, outside of the hotel. I filled out the sheet for the breakfast and they said to leave it out of the room before midnight. I returned around 3 am and it was still there so, guess what? No breakfast for me. That sucked. The people at the front desk were very nice but I feel the house keeping do not check on the rooms. Overall, if you are in town for business, it a decent place to stay. If you are on vacation (although who vacations in Hartford?), I would go elsewhere.

“What til Renovations are over with”

I stayed at this hotel a few days after it become a Ramada(formerly a crown plaza) The TV and internet went off early in the night. Also the reservation system was having issues transferring from crown plaza to the ramada. My Debit Card was charged a random hold for $73 dollars. Then a charge came in for $93 a few days later even though the room was prepaid and I used no services. The manager did offer to get me a good rate on my next stay. The hotel has potential and I am sure it will be nice in few months

“could be cleaner”

I was very surprised at the cleanliness of my room. The floors were stained in many places. There was a opened package of hydrocortizone cream under the chair when I arrived that stayed, and it was still there when I left. Because of this, I looked behind the end table and I saw bottle caps and miscelenous litter. I've stayed at cheaper hotels and they were much better.
