“Plan on repeat visit”

I had stayed at Holiday Inn Express closer to where my visit was, though still an hour's drive because it was the best rate I could get (still quite expensive). I was flying out the next morning so I wanted to be at the airport. There is a shuttle that will take you to the airport or the car rental. It is close enough Enterprise shuttled me to the hotel. I had no idea that this was a brand new hotel. It is very "Euro" looking inside when you enter (kind of like "Aloft"). My room was right near the elevator which gave me pause. However, the room was extraordinary for the price. Very modern and chic set up with a segregated desk and lounging area. The TV was still in the bedroom area. Shower/sink were in a seperate room from the toilet/sink. The toilet ran during the night but that wasn't a problem. The room was very quite and I slept very well. Breakfast was the usual but the staff was very nice. I am traveling to the same town in 3 weeks and am going to stay at SpringField Suites. For the price, this ranks up there with Aloft in Philly and Staybridge in Liverpool UK. I have paid plenty more for less and not been as pleased. Definitely terrific for business travelers and I will keep them in mind for other trips I take.

“Great for the grandma visit”

The hotel was lovely. We were there for the annual Grandmother visit. The only drawback was that the pool was unheated. Although it was inside, yikes, chilly. It did not stop the 5 year old from spend an hour in it tthe two nights we were there. Breakfast was quite tasty.

“Great hotel for certain needs”

Our trip began with a cross country plane ride arriving late at Hartford Int'l. We intended to stay the night at the airport, and get our rental car and set out in the morning for a road trip to our final destination. We were travelling with two little kids, and the spaciousness of the room, the way the suite was divided with a mini partition, and the two large (I think king?) beds made it very comfortable. We could put the kids to bed - they were very strung out after having traveled all day and stayed up way past their normal bed time - and then stay up ourselves in the little "living room" if need be. The room was very clean and smelled good, and the air conditioning was strong for people like me who hate humidity. The included breakfast was adequate - yogurts, granola, cereals, pastries, bagels, waffles, coffee, etc. to get you out the door. There actually was plenty of seating in the breakfast lounge as there was a large family reunion going on and still plenty of other customers having breakfast too and no one bumping into one another. The neighborhood was bleak (it's an airport hotel) but for our purposes this did not matter.

“Pretty Good”

The staff was friendly. The rooms were good, but the restroom is too centrally located.

“Very pretty, but...”

Although the room was beautiful, there was much we were not happy with. The bathrooms, with pretty translucent doors, were directly opposite the beds. Because the doors were not opaque, light from the bathroom flooded the sleeping area. This caused a problem everytime someone woke to use the bathroom, thus waking everyone else in the room. Needless to say, one restless sleeper, caused many tired people in the morning. The sitting area was small and it too connected to the sleeping area by only half walls, thus lights there would also bother sleeping people. There was variety at the continental breakfast. Eggs, waffles, bacon, bagels, etc. The eggs were rather dull though and there was only one waffle iron causing people to wait a while to make their waffles.

“Close to airport”

Front staff was very nice. Looks like they are still trying to finish setting up. Many boxes were piled up behind the desk area. Breakfast was good and ready for us before we left for the airport in the morning. Rooms have a modern decor.Desk area offers large work spexits hurtle to airport runs every half an hour 24-7.
