“Nice alternative to chain hotels”

I found this hotel near a business call I needed to make. It was 30% cheaper than the local chain hotel I normally stay at and I wanted a change of scenery. I was very pleasantly surprised at the look of the inside of the hotel. The staff was VERY nice and helped direct me to a good local restaurant for dinner. The location, while on a busy road, was near a very quaint New England-like neighborhood. Despite the busy road out front, I found the room to be very quiet. Would stay here again.

It may be an older hotel but the room was fresh with upgraded bedding. Not many places offer (2) queen size canopy beds. Best value in the area.

“My favorite place to stay when visiting Hartford or Farmington Valley”

Well located hotel near good restaurants, driving range, museum. The hotel has more distinction and charm than you might expect for the relatively reasonable price. The breakfast buffet is better than most. There is wireless internet and two computers in the lobby where you can still get online if the wireless goes out. The rooms are comfortable and attractive.

“Quaint Inn near Hartford, CT”

Very nice inn, loved the canopy beds. Continental breakfast was sufficient and the proximity to West Hartford was perfect. I plan on staying again when I need to be in the area.

“A real New England feel”

Quaint, charming, colonial. This hotel had a real New England ambiance. The four poster bed, goose down comforter, goose down pillows, antique wood furniture and period art allowed me to forget about business for a bit and ponder the history of the area. I will book at this hotel everytime I visit the farmington, New Britain area, for business or pleasure.

I thought this would be just another hotel, but to my surprise, it had an old world feel to it and canopy beds! I felt like I stepped back in time to the 1800s, only there was modern amenities :)

“Comfortable and Clean”

Nicely located in the center of Farmington. Friendly staff and VERY comfortable beds. Breakfast in the morning is nice as well, yogurt and milk all the bread and bagels you could want. Coffee nice and hot.

“Would go back anytime we're visiting West Hartford”

The complementary wine and cheese took the travel edge off immediately, the staff was attentive and helpful, accommodations were clean and comfortable and easily accessible - no elevator though but was unnecessary. We had a comfortable room, breakfast was okay. would absolutely go back again!
