“Nice Hotel If You're In the Area”

The rooms appear to have been recently renovated. Our room was very clean and fresh. The various staff members we met were all very friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be about all of the electrical outlets in the room. They were all very loose, so in other words the electrical contact was very poor. You would have to position your cord just right to make it work, otherwise you'd have no power or it would be arcing inside the outlet. Not very convenient or safe. I suspect the contractor who did the renovations chose the cheapest outlets on the planet to save costs. All in all a great hotel, however.

“Shabby”

The young man at the front desk was less than cordial, except when the older woman supervising him was around. The keycard didn't work in the lock of the pool. Everything was sort of shabby. Decent breakfast. Acceptable, but not particularly welcoming.

“Just needed to be cleaned”

The staff was niec, but there were cups of water with cigarette butts in them in many of the window frames of the rooms and beer bottles on the ground outside many. My room was not clean. The toilet bowl was dirty, there was a glob of hair on the wall of the shower, the carpeting looked like it had not been vacumned for over a month. I had to place towels on the floor in order to walk from the bed to the bathrrom.

“Good shelter in pouring rain”

A little run down with attempt to modernize (e.g. flat-screen TV).
