Enjoyed our stay

Jasmine in front office was super friendly. Was very helpful with my problem I had with Expedia not sending info over. Smiled the whole time. She was the most awesome part of this hotel!

Good, affordable long term option

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Affordable price. Great internet. Clean rooms. Pleasant and friendly staff.
Cons: All the beds should have blankets as well as comforters. Improve the shower water pressure in some of the rooms. Replace the satellite television.
Location: Centrally located on the Westbank. There are a lot of dining and shopping options near by and the freeway entrance is close.
I have stayed at this property a few times and the rooms are basically the same. The single bed rooms I have stayed in have one queen bed, a small table with two chairs and a lounge chair. There was also a kitchenette with a mini fridge, a microwave, a sink and two stove top burners. The mattresses are basic, but comfortable. A new development I learned of this trip was the hotel is phasing out blankets on the beds. There is just a sheet and comforter now and the comforter is fitted at the foot of the bed so it only comes to mid-chest. I do not like having to use a comforter as a blanket and if you ask at check in, they will try to accommodate you as some of the rooms still have blankets. Other minor problems I have experienced include a leaking kitchen faucet and a microwave with the door handle broken off. The cleanliness of the rooms have all been good, especially the bathrooms. Most of the room's showers had good water pressure. Two of the rooms had newer shower heads that appeared to use a water restrictor as the pressure was not as good and made a loud whistling noise. One thing to mention are the thin walls. If you have a loud neighbor, you will definitely hear them. And if you stay in one of the rooms, near the front of the property, road noise can be noticeable. The satellite television can be spotty due to New Orleans' weather. But the internet is great with a strong signal and fast speeds. Parking is plentiful and there is an elevator for the upper floors.

Needs a bulldozer

Posted Apr 22, 2015 on Hotels
I didn't set my expectations too high based on prior reviews, but this place needs a bulldozer. Rusted out sink, cabinets falling apart from water damage, a broken toilet tank cover, broken shower head, A/C wouldn't cool...and lots of noise from the other guests.

Close to lots of stores and freeway

The room is very spacious and comfortable. It's an older hotel but clean. The staff waited even though we were a little late checking in and very friendly.

Its great place for price! There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance or 5 minutes drive. 20 minute drive to French Quarter.

No Towels

Posted Apr 4, 2015 on Hotels
No bath towels in room and when I asked for some the desk clerk was rude. The outlet for the coffee maker didn't work. Location was good right off hwy 275.

Close restaurants and bars, friendly people. Expedia needs to stop asking me to put in more info lol
