“Should be 1 star NOT 2.5 star”

This hotel was rated a 2.5 star. We arrived and the desk clerk was VERY rude to both me and my husband. We got to our room and it was WORSE than any 1 star we have stayed at in a long time. The shower head was so full of hard water buildup that it would only trickle water out. The wall around the shower had so much water damage that it was as soft as if it was covered with a cotton cloth. It was just painted over. The coffee pot was there but NO coffee. The bed and mattress was soooo worn out that it completely dipped down in the middle.

“NOT clean at all”

This hotel has a lot of potential, but the cleanness needs to be improved. The bad: * Our non-smoking room had a awful and penetrating cigar smell. * Cockroaches * The hotel's brochure promised pristine clean rooms and daily cleaning, but when we request room cleaning they only offered us to pick up supplies at the office, and they clean once a week. * Fridge not working. The good: * Price * Good location, it is relatively close to downtown and french quarter if you are driving.

“Not impressed”

The room was billed as a non-smoking room, but it reeked of smoke. The toilet ran for 30 minutes each time it was flushed. And, I asked for a wake up call that never arrived.

“NOT AS BAD AS I EXPECTED”

I WAS DREADING OUR STAY HERE. IEXPECTED A DUMP. IT WAS NOT AS BAD AS I EXPECTED FOR THE PRICE.IT IS OLD AND THE TWO BED SUITES WERE SMALL AND THE BEDS WERE FULL AND NOT QUENNS.THINK PRE KATRINA. WE FELT SAFE.

“Never again. I know what not to book now.”

Dirty. Hair found in the cheap towels. I saw a bug in the kitchenette. Falsely advertised with a picture different from the room kitchenette. Broken stove. I could go on but I won't. I did not sleep there cause it felt too gross. I spent the night in other family hotel rooms at 2 other hotels 2 other nights. (I was in town for a wedding.) I was booked for 3 nights there and still paid to stay in another hotel for 3 extra nights. Terrible experience. I learned what to avoid when booking a hotel from now on.

The new hotel I chose was downtown. It was fun being able to walk outside the room directly to other activities or sights to see.

“Not good at all”

No change towels, clean room ones a week, bed in bad conditions. If the bed would be in better conditions, if the room would be clean every day, including clean towels, I can say. this hotel is ok. But unfortunately I will never book again with them.
