It was a small hotel but well kept. The staff was friendly and it was quiet and clean. The continental breakfast was very well done with good variety.

“Minnesota hospitality at its best”

We were in Hastings because of a 90th birthday party in the family. We usually stay with family when visiting but needed to have an "off site" place available because of unpredictable changes in health needs of a family member. The hotel staff was extremely accomodating and helpful - even making available a suite at the last minute when another family member had sudden need. Breakfast hours were reasonable and the continental breakfast had fresh, healthy options available. Hours in the pool and spa were convenient. All in all, the Amerinn offered a welcome respite.

Everyone was very polite and made you feel comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and they kept the area nice and clean and everything was kept full. I told the gal taking care of area that it seemed to be a full time job keeping everything stocked for breakfast.

minor issues... carpet needed stretching - housekeeping unplugged lamps and didn't plug them back in... not good when you come in late. The room was OK though. Surprisingly quiet considering it's in the middle of a busy busy area. Don't go in there with anything larger than a midsize pickup truck... it'll be difficult to park. The spots are NARROW

Hotel was a basic hotel, just average. Clean, pool area was great though, very nice dining area for breakfast. The rooms could use some sprucing up like the dining area was.

Strong smell of smoking in the main area of the motel. Room was clean and comfortable; the bed was fine but the pillows weren't comfortable. TV remote didn't work to turn on/off the TV and person at desk assisted us to see if a universal remote would work differently but it didn't.

Nice, clean, friendly. Didn't spend much time in the hotel, but everything worked and was clean. Staff was very friendly.
