Good timePosted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: I enjoyed the breakfast. Shopping center all around the hotel. The exit home was really close to the hotel so that was nice.
Cons: The kids were disappointed that they didn't have a diving board in the pool area. So we left and went swimming by one of our relatives house.
Location: The location was great, lots of shopping centers, gas stations, places to eat. The exit was really close so we could just go on it and go home.
The kids liked it because it had Wi-Fi. My husband is diabetes so the refrigerator was great. It was close to our relatives houses. Good to visit relatives.

enjoyed my stayPosted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Really everything
Location: I can not answer that because we were on our way to Florida and just needed a nice place to stay.
We got to the hotel late and it was nice to see a smiling face. The rooms were clean and on Expedia we got a great price. The rooms are remodeled and you can tell, but we were comfortable and it was clean and that is what mattered to us.

DisappointedPosted Jun 13, 2015
Cost cutting to the point you will see and feel it in the stay. Spend $10 or $20 and stay somewhere else.

its alrightPosted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: hotel staff was good, bed was comfy, room was clean, tv had a lot of channels, and it was nearby a lot of good places to eat
Cons: the breakfast could be improved dramatically, pillows were too small, shower curtain doesn't keep water from leaking to floor due to design flaw
Location: plaid rhino is a great place to eat! the crawfish pasta is awesome and the service was great
the breakfast was ok at best, the best thing was the waffle maker but I didn't even use that , the boiled eggs were hard and cold, the scrambled eggs were watery and nasty .. not even ok . Muffin and other breads were good tho. The morning kitchen staff seemed upset or something , didn't seem too happy w me asking a question. There was a lot of banging next door to where I stayed indicating that the walls were probably really thin . The shower curtains didn't cover the water from leaking into the floor since the curtain rod is curved..kinda weird. Aside from that, I was greeted nicely and my check in was a breeze. I was just happy to be there and the bed was comfy. So it was a mediocre stay . Ive stayed in really nice hotels so its probably unfair to compare but anyway, that was my experience.

Cons: The rooms could have been a little cleaner but not to bad.
Location: Very close to college and lots of places to eat.
The hotel was doing some remodeling, I wish we would have known that before hand. The staff was awesome. They were all so friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

COMFORTABLE STAYPosted Apr 28, 2015 on Hotels
While the Baymont isn't the swankiest place to stay in Hattiesburg, I've always found it completely adequate and comfortable. It's also close to many of the local venues we often frequent there. The best part is that the staff is friendly and helpful.
