“Quality Resting Place for an Evening”

The Microtel is easy to locate off of Interstate 59. The neighborhood is comfortable and you can walk to nearby restaurants if you don't feel like venturing out in your car to find dinner. The Olive Garden next door has good service and quality food. My room was comfortable too, didn't have any problems, and the complimentary "continental" breakfast in the lobby has a generous selection of foods -- the Jimmy Dean biscuits give it a Southern twist. Overall, great value and I would recommend for those staying in Hattiesburg.

“Clean & Safe”

I felt safe ther staying by myself. All the rooms have their entrance through an interoir hallway. I did find the room alittle small but I was by myself so it was okay. Comfortable bed!

The host at the desk was friendly. The room was nice and clean, especially the bathroom. The breakfast was okay especially the donuts, and you could have free soft drinks or juice and popcorn during the day!!

“Microtel - Hattiesburgh by USM Campus”

Very nice hotel in safe surroundings. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast in the morning was nice as well. I would recommend this especially to people visiting for the University of Southern Missisippi. There is easy access to the Highway and only about five minutes away from campus.

“Great Hattiesburg Hotel”

My family rented 2 rooms and we all had a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and offered the advertised amenities. And they are much bigger than you would expect . Surrounded by plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. The only downside I can think of was the iron wasn't that great. But not a big deal at all. Will stay there again.

We head up to Hattiesburg for several times a year for Southern Miss events and have stayed in a number of hotels in and around the city. This time, it was a last minute trip so we picked the first place that was available at a reasonable price. We were very pleased with the hotel, staff, and the location... not to mention the price. Now, we have our new favorite hotel in Hattiesburg.

From the quality bedding to the free popcorn and sodas in the lobby, everything was better than I expected for a budget hotel. The staff was very friendly and interested in whether everything was fine with my stay.

This is one of the cleaniest hotels i have ever stayed in! Staff was curtious and quick to respond. Located close to several very good restaurants and shopping.
