Lofty experience in ColmarPosted Sep 1, 2013
Pros: Location was great and design/decor was groovy
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
Location: Top location - We had dinner by the river/canal and strolled the old town the next morning
We stayed at Le Colombier in July 2013. It is right in the heart of Colmar which has a lovely old district. There was a festival on the weekend we were there but we still managed to park in the street right in front of the hotel. Design was very groovy, modern and very comfortable - we stayed in the loft on the top floor. It was an unique experience but we felt a little insecure in terms of fire.

Don't expect a welcoming smilePosted Aug 3, 2013
Pros: High standard of design
Cons: Disinterested staff
Location: Close to the centre of town but with convenient parking opportunity
We liked the design of this modern hotel; the location is ideal, the room was comfortable and convenient, everything we needed was provided. Unfortunately the unhelpful attitude of reception staff made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.

Great ChoicePosted Apr 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel cannot be in a better location and neighborhood. It is well maintained and full of nice design touches. Parking is easy right in front. The room is delightful and spacious for a hotel in the middle of an old town. Highly recommend.

Very Nice HotelPosted Apr 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
We really liked this hotel. The hotel was right in the heart of the old city and very modern. The rooms were large, by French standards and the bath was very modern and clean. They also served a very nice breakfast, French style of course. Parking was down the street....but only a short walk....so I wouldn't take off too much on that. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel.

Great choice in Petite VenisePosted Apr 8, 2012 on Hotels.com
We were very well pleased with the hotel in every way. There was no more enclosed parking available, but we found an open place directly in front of the hotel on the FREE side of the street (the opposite side is "payant"). Our room at the top of the house had exposed beams and was beautifully fitted out to take advantage of the architecture. The view, although on the street side, was very nice. Good breakfast though all self-serve. In all a great choice at a good price/quality ratio.
