“decent cheap hotel near Chamonix”

We stayed here on the final night of a road trip round europe (as my stag do)..... hope we were not too noisy for the other guests! the hotel is in a beautiful area with fantastic views and when we visited in May the weather was also very good. The rooms were basic but comfortable enough for our stay and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The best way to get from the hotel to chamonix is by the local free rail link which takes around 15mins to get you straight into the centre of the resort.

“Amazing views, good menu, and very accomidating to English speakers”

My brothers and I book a weekend package ski trip through Expedia and chose the Hôtel Les Campanules based on price alone. We had no expectations as we just needed a place that could accomidate three adults. We found the hotel easy to find. Our room was small, but had the essentials, Amazing views of Mt. Blanc, hot shower, separate WC. The meals were hearty and prices good. The activity room had comfortable chairs but other than the TV, nothing worked (i.e. pool table, piano was locked, stereo, darts, etc). Regardless, we'd stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends.

“I would visit again”

When place has the warmth of a ski resort (actually it is a ski resort, but we were there in the late spring). The food is wonderful but a bit pricey. Unlike most places we stayed in Europe, breakfast was not included in the room rate. The rooms were small by American standards, but very nice. There is bar on site. The managers spoke English very well and was very helpful in helping us plan nearby events. Mont Blanc is less than 15 minutes from the hotel.

I have been in December 2010 and I was very impressed about this hotel. STAFF WAS VERY FRENDLY. Room was clean, pozision of the hotel superb (specialy winther time). Very close to tain station to go to Chamonix town. Very, very happy with this place.......

“Amazing for a 2**”

Amazing for a 2 **. Resturant serving gorgeous food, friendly staff, quiet, superb views. The only thing I'm knocking is the mattress was a bit soft. Brilliant value for the money. Would go again tomorrow.

Friendly well run hotel in quiet side of town, but transport provided. Views from balcony side spectacular.Hotel decor slightly past its best but easily made up for by very helpful and friendly staff.

“Lovely views of Mont Blanc”

This is a charming hotel which has rooms for a little extra with superb views of Mont Blanc. The room was clean warm and cosy with lots of natural wood in the decor. There was a lot of information about local facilities on site, but the town is geared towards winter sports and consequently many places are closed out of season.

“More than adequate”

Although the room was very small, especially when you have quite a bit of gear for Skiing, the room was very clean, the beds super comfortable, and an amazing shower! All you need when you are out most of the day skiing anyway.
