“Charming Hotel Residential Annecy”

I stayed at Hotel Le Flamboyant for 2 nights while visiting the absolutely beautiful Annecy-le-Vieux, Haute-savoie. The room was large with a comfortable King sized bed, refrigerator and some in room snacks/drinks (for additional charge). There was a little coffee pot for tea, coffee and chocolate provided with attractive mugs. The bathroom was very nice, large and had a window that could open. The A/C workerd great. Nice closet and drawers and good room safe. It's a small hotel with winding stair cases, pleasant and helpful desk people. I did not stay for breakfast. Hotel is located in residential area past the Imperial Hotel and the old downtown. I walked to the hotel from the train station - takes about 35 minutes with luggage. The Flamoyant is located on quiet evening streets, and moderate morning traffic. Close to jogging path and near the lake. Non-walkers consider a car or taxi; I walked all the time without any problems. Stayed in mid-September - great weather. Overall a great low cost and comfortable little hotel.
