“Excellent”

Room of average size, but very clean and modern. Reception excellent, could not do enough for you and always a smile. While not in the centre of town it is only a 10 minute walk to the action. Would recommend to friends.

Everything about the decor was very tasteful but unfortunately not much of a view from our room. Having said that the staff were very friendly and helpful, the pool was lovely though it could have been a degree or two warmer. It was a real bonus to have use of the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and hammam after a days skiing (or before if you're an early riser). My only criticism was that our room wasn't completely comfortable to sleep in. For me the beds were a little hard and the heating/airconditioning meant that several times through the night I woke either boiling hot or freezing cold, throwing the duvet off or snuggling back under it. I've never experienced this in any other hotel to such a degree.Maybe it was because the weather was very mild when we were there, such a shame though because in every other way it was a very nice hotel to stay in. Good location with an excellent bus service. Chamonix Sud is not the prettiest part of town by far but it is only a ten minute walk to the centre. Very convenient and there is a good ski rental shop just across the road.

Had to ask for room facilities such as tea/coffee everyday. Bar staff were slowest in the world...Expect to wait for up to 20 mins for refreshments even if you are the only person in the bar
